Regis summoned lots of sharp blades and shoots them onto Blaze, Blaze parried a few before jumping to strike him back, but Regis easily dodged his attacks, he then waved his right hand to the side and his staff appeared.

It looked like it’s made of black woods from the deep forest of Foloi, and the alder colored floating cube as its magic amplifier is somewhat transparent.

Blaze then continued to rush onto Regis only to be greeted by more blades coming from all directions, he managed to dodge and blocked it all without getting any fatal injuries, but having scars and wounds were still inevitable.

“Considering the weight of that sword, you’re pretty fast.” Regis jumped back.

“Pretty cool right? It’s name is Revenant, it seems this sword likes you, so give a little hug!”

Blaze then ran towards him and tried slashing, but unexpectedly Regis is flexible and was able to quickly dodge all fast attacks… Blaze then infused his sword with fire, and as the ancient symbols glow, he gained more and more speed, eventually Regis was running out of stamina, and used his power to trap Blaze in an endless loop.

Blaze was trapped in a room full of doors and when he opens one, he was led into another room filled with more doors, the walls seemed to be a mixed colors in a spiral way, which gave him nausea just from staring at it.

The trapped costs more mana for Regis, so he only took a short time to catch his breath, and stabbed his staff to the ground, more mirrors appeared and surrounded their area, Regis then stopped the illusion and Blaze got out of the trap through one door only to be greeted by his reflections who walk out from the mirrors and became his replicas.

“Shit…” Blaze looked around high on his guard preparing to counter his own attacks.

Meanwhile at the others…

Sofia was almost done with the barrier, but a phantom secretly got past through Mike and disturbed the spell, Sofia stopped it before it completely disappears, but unfortunately some undead got inside through that short mishap.

While the others are on the front lines, Safira, along with 4 other fighters from the base, were assigned by Norelle to eliminate those who got in.

Safira then burned most of the undead in one swing of her sword, the other 4 fighters killed some undead too, but one of them was overwhelmed and ended up being eaten alive. Safira the jumped on top of a 2 story house to gain the higher ground, to which she then held her sword in front of her at chest level.

“Through the embers of the underworld where despair resides, rise upon the ashes and burn this corrupted souls to die! INFERNAL PHOENIX!!!” Safira then swung her sword to the right as a huge Phoenix rose behind her and strike at where most of the undead was eating the fighter.

Through Safira’s control, blue flames spread throughout the land burning all of the undead and healing all of her injured comrades and people.

“GAAAH!!!” One of the fighters grunts.

Safira then turned around to see a golem, who was already burning with her own blue flames, but still weren’t affected by it.

Undeads are weak against Fire and Light, because they are either infused with cursed mana, corrupted mana, dark magic, or viruses… meanwhile golems have high resistance to those depending on various types.

The golem then grabbed the head of the fighter and tried to crush it, but Safira threw her sword immediately onto its hand, and with great speed of her turbo, she immediately grabbed the sword and sliced the cored in half… the Blue flames started regenerating the injured fighter.
