Dragon Fists

"Damn you" I said as I closed the distance between us as the lightning around me grew brighter and brighter, virion approached me too, he took the bait, as I used a compound spell of earth and water to make his leg loose footing on its next step as it submerged into the mud, he fell to the ground at breaking-neck speed, I could hear trisk laughing so hard that I was worried Tess's eardrums might burst, who was next to her.

To hit the iron while it's hot, I coated my hand in flames and used the inferno fist while using wind to increase my speed, my hand was a few inches away just when Virion swiftly moved to my side and blasted me into the air, he had used the flowing fist, it was flawless, so fast i couldnt even keep  up, I got an idea in my mind, I landed and coated myself in a thin layer of water mana, and layered it with a thick layer of fire mana, I approached him with some advanced formations of the inferno technique, he was standing there still knowing he could escape at the last second, confident, as I approached and was a few inches away and knew Virion was about to dodge, I let go of my fire mana and pushed out more water mana, switching to the flowing fist mid attack and increasing my speed further with wind I caught up to Virion trying to dodge, gave him a mean cut on his arm despite the thick layer of mana he had conjured, he stumbled back but so did I, the toll for performing such a move was so high It almost broke my arm, I hear a little crack from my right arm knowing I had pushed myself too hard.

"How did you know that move, brat you just keep surprising me even knows the basics of the flowing fist!!" he smiled.

But he was now serious about to deliver the finishing blow, I knew I had to do more to be able to secure the place, I had to be sure as his standards were raised tremendously for this test, I reached for my core and activated the spell, runes etched along my arms up till my shoulder glowing a gold bright color, my senses heightened, I could see Vrion approaching this time easily, my control over mana had increased in this state tremendously, I coated myself in earth mana to face his attack head on, Virion surprised at my transformation slowed down a bit, I approached at a faster speed which shocked him more, our fists met head on, I purposely had to use my left fist, the ground below us caved in as Virion jumped back, he was looking for me while I had just appeared behind him white lightning crackling around me I swung my sword, as I saw him getting covered in a black silhouette and disappear, a fist came from behind toppling me forward, it was Virion, he was covered in a black opaque aura, almost like a panther, his speed was unbelievable, scared I will not last long in this state I approached him even faster this time as I used wind to push me forward and lightning to create a aerodynamic shape, I pushed a huge amount of mana into my hand as a lightning dragon bigger than me conjured up around me as I approached Virion, I am sure i made contact and sent Virion 10 yards back on his butt, his aura still intact, that's when I saw Tess unconscious, and Dr. trisk holding her shocked looking at me, that's when I went into a deep slumber.

Virion Eralith's P.O.V.

This brat also has a beast will? A beast strong enough for me to bring out my beast-will, the surprises never end with him do they, what the hell, he increased his mana output by a whole lot, what speed, almost close to mine, impossible for someone so young to move so fast, the lightning is more vigorous than ever.

I stood at my place preparing wind mana to enhance my speed but suddenly his speed increased drastically, as the lightning formed a huge dragon around him, I coated myself in mana and used water and wind to lower the impact as much as possible, this brat was capable of pushing me till this far?! As soon as he made contact every muscle in my body flexed and protested as I went flying back, I still had my beast will active, one more of this attack and I could have been rendered useless, of course unless I was going all out, I should have known better by how many times he exceeded my expectation in this battle and made me drop my guard, the boy submerged to the ground after the strike, his hair color returning to auburn from white, the glowing runes on his hands and face faded away.

That's when I saw trisk shocked out of her mind looking at Arthur, while tess laid unconscious, in her arms, if I had known the battle would rise to this level I would have never let her accompany us, I withdrew my beast-will and mana and took Tess off of Trisk's hand and gestured her to go heal Arthur.

After dropping Tess off with her parents and explaining the situation, they were furious of course but couldn't say anything to me, I then decided to go visit Arthur who was being treated by trisk, it would be a shame that he crippled himself as a mage while trying to prove himself to me.

As I opened the doors I saw trisk healing Arthur's arm while two others bandaged almost his whole body.

"How are you feeling brat" I asked.

"Never better" he replied weakly.

"Very well, heal fast you got a big journey ahead, I am accepting your request" I answered.

He exhaled in relief, "I will do my best" he replied, while trisk left his side and approached me

"He is just a nine year old, not only you used so many techniques, but also your beast will?!!!!" she shouted.

"What are you a fool?! If I didn't go that far I would be in worse condition than he is, he is capable of beating almost every mage in this castle, he is way beyond what you had described, not only that, he has a dangerously powerful beast-will, which is why I had to use mine to keep up with the speed, he should have known the backlash of his own beast will, that's his foolishness"I retorted, before trisk could speak up Arthur interrupted.

"what's a beast will?"

"You don't know what a-, its when a beast above the A class transfer their will onto a human being who is then able to use the beast's abilities to an extent as their own" I explained briefly.

"Well you might have one, but I have never come across any mana beast let alone an A class or higher, I don't have a beast-will" he replied confidently.

At first I suspected he was lying but even I wasn't sure what kind of a beast could give a human such a huge power-up. "so how did you obtain that transformation"

"It had always been in my core, I discovered it after my body was strong enough for magic, it consumes a lot of mana but heightens my mana power and break any barriers, giving me enhanced strength, stamina and perception, I am in a different league in this state, but I can barely use it for 20 seconds" he explained

"I haven't seen or heard of a beast with such powers, how is it possible to have such a huge power up, it almost makes your mana spells as strong as dark yellow or solid yellow core mage, it's a phenomenal technique" I thought out loud.

"I always suspected It was because I had awakened early or had access to so many element or both, I was hoping you would know more about it but I guess I was wrong" he said.

"don't lose hope yet boy our training will start of by you purifying your core further, you will then be able to last longer and we can get answers then" I said.

"yes, its better you do not engage in physical training for a while as both your arms are almost broken and although you are healing fast I don't know how it will still take a few weeks to be safe" trisk advised.

"well it was worth it" he said smirking at me, I returned the smirk while holding my hand near my chest where he wounded me.
