When the urge to hug Potter tightly to himself as he promised him that he didn't mean it suddenly entered his mind, Draco almost cursed at himself.

Potter sat down, still looking so upset it was close to making Draco's heart ache, and for once actually shut up.

Pansy looked at Potter with a sympathetic look, before turning to Draco and nudging him in the side.

"Ow, Pansy—" Draco started, but Pansy cut him off.

"What is the matter with you?" She whisper-shouted, for some reason looking strangely upset.

Draco ran a hand through his hair, "Whatever do you mean?" He asked cooly.

Pansy almost looked in disbelief, "You're being totally unreasonable to Potter! I thought you liked him. Why are you trying to make him upset?"

"Lower your voice," Draco hissed, leaning closer to Pansy in hopes it wouldn't make her voice audible to Potter. Potter was right next to him, what was Pansy even doing? "And I don't like him, you know that."

"Draco.." Pansy looked all too careful for Draco's liking as she seemingly studied his face.

Draco merely turned with a scoff, and looked at the head of the class again.

Everyone was just being difficult today.

Draco looked first at Pansy, and then Blaise, a bored expression on his face.

"I gotta say," Said Blaise, "I'm on Potter's side this time."

"You're taking sides?" Said Draco, his voice lingering with incredulity and annoyance.

Blaise shrugged, "You're not making any sense."

"And you're making Potter upset." Said Pansy distinctly, leaning across the table, closer to Draco.

Draco huffed, "Since when do you care if I make Potter upset?"

Pansy took a deep breath. "Since I figured out you liked him."

Draco stared at her. "I don't." He lied, and by the look on Pansy's face, she saw right through it.

"You're just too proud to admit it." She said, Draco shaking his head. "And because you're too proud to admit it, or tell Potter—" All color drained from Draco's face. "You're pushing him away."

"..You're mad." Said Draco lowly, and Blaise snorted.

"Even I see it," Said Blaise, and Draco debated internally wether or not a fork was an okay murder weapon.

"It doesn't matter if I liked Potter anyway," Draco pondered wether or not that was the right thing to say when Pansy's eyes softened as if he'd just admitted to having feelings for him. "He's gonna be out of our life's in 5 days."

"Is that what's holding you back? Draco i'm sure if you told him—"

"Nothing's holding me back, Pansy. Because there is nothing to hold back." Draco finally snapped.

God, had Pansy and Blaise just planned on pissing him off today?

Pansy and Blaise looked at each other, giving each other knowing looks.

"..Draco, we don't mean to upset you—"

"I'm not upset," Said Draco quickly. "I'm annoyed."

"Right," Pansy breathed, Blaise beside her letting out a sigh. "We didn't mean to be annoying then,"

Draco merely rolled his eyes, and when he returned to staring down at his plate, he felt both Pansy and Blaise's gaze on him.
