"i can't do this anymore." 

"yah don't give up when you haven't tried." 

sunoo was sitting on the ice, he was pretty sure his ass was completely wet, his legs stretched out. "i've falled a grand total of sixteen times. i think i've had enough." 

"let's get you back up, cmon hold onto me," sunghoon gestured for sunoo to grip onto his outstretched arms. 

with one swift pull sunoo was back up onto his skates, his hold on sunghoon's tight as his body leaned into sunghoon. 

"let's give this one more shot shall we?" sunghoon whispered. 

sunoo's eyes peered into sunghoon's, searching for anything, anything that gave away what the boy was feeling. 

sunghoon licked his lips, "do you trust me?" 

sunoo swallowed his saliva, his adam's apple moving, trying to understand if sunghoon meant differently. he looked at how sunghoon had a tight grip on his arm and his waist, almost ready to protect sunoo if he were to fall again. 

trust was something that could take years to form and yet completely vanish in seconds. sunghoon had lost sunoo's trust that day yet now in that moment, he couldn't help but want to hold on, clutch onto sunghoon and not let him go despite of the sadness, heartache and misery he had given sunoo. 

you know that there's that feeling you get when even someone so close to you does something so unforgettable yet you can't help but still place your trust in them. 

sunoo could feel it again. that feeling for love and longing he had locked away resurfacing which he had tried so hard to bury and hide away. i guess i never really fell out of love. 

hesitantly, sunoo nodded. 

"hold on sunoo, i promise i'll catch you if you fall." 

sunoo wished sunghoon's words were true. that he'd keep his promise and catch him. trying to control his trembling hands, sunoo clutched onto sunghoon's wrist, there was fear. 

fear he'd get lost and swallowed into the black abyss again. fear that this time not even jay could pull him back. fear that he might lose the chance to fix back his heart. but he chose to ignore it. 

it was sunghoon afterall, the boy he had hopelessly, mindlessly, irrevocably been in love with for his whole life.
