"Oh look, it says here that my uber name is Matthew" I said looking at my phone "What a coincidence" he joined in, standing straight and unlocking the car "No, seriously, my Uber is two minutes away" I tried to get any reaction from him.

"Yeah, sure, shut up and get in the car" He said gesturing his hand for me to hop in the vehicle, not even bothering to throw me a second glance. He closed the door and I could see from outside his eyes staring at me, waiting impatiently "Taylor I am not opening the door for you" he said calmly after rolling the passenger window down

"I thought Mary Lou raised you better" I said finally getting in the car.

"She did, but I bought vegetables which stayed out of the fridge for long enough" he started the car, making the path to our neighborhood.

"You sounded just like my mom" I laughed lightly.

Driving back home Matthew decided to turn on the radio so that we could listen to something on the way, and as he switched between channels he stopped on one where the radio announcer introduced that the next song would be Blind by Role Model.

"I love this song," he commented, looking at me as the instrumentals of the song began to play.

"I've never heard it," I said, which caused him to turn up the volume.

He then began to sing the lyrics loudly, always exchanging quick glances with me at the chorus, and I just giggled at the faces he made according to the tone he was using. I didn't want to sound crazy but I could swear that the lyrics actually fit our situation. I like to keep my feet on the ground, I know that all these romantic songs were made to fit with every situation but when Matthew lowered his tone to sing the part "You're a little like me, same type, cancels every date night, stays home, never leaves, just can't find the energy, I stay pretty numb, never fell for anyone, you seem similar, always end up getting hurt" I know that it wasn't just me who felt that this was about us.

As we arrived the street to our house we could see from the distance kids playing in the front yard, some old ladies gardening and other people from around the block on a walk with their dogs. As we got closer I noticed Nathan sitting on the curb in front of the Sturniolo's, along with Chris, a very unhappy looking Lizzie and... Paige with her hands all gauzed up?

Matthew looked at me like a crazy person when he heard me laugh out of nowhere, but when I showed him how Paige looked he just let out a laugh. I know that you're probably thinking I'm a terrible sister but it's not every day you see someone look like that at broad daylight.

Matthew parked on the driveway and went inside, not really caring about the vegetables like he did before. If I knew I would've asked him to stay at the arcade a little longer. I got out of the car and went to the small group on the front of the house.

"Why does she look like a mummy?" I asked pointing to Paige who had her head hanging low on her arms.

"Do I look like a mommy?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows at me and striking a pose, trying to look seductive while being aware of her injuries and not moving too much.

"A mummy, you idiot, why are you all taped up?" I re-phrased my question looking around the group.

"She fell from the skateboard trying to impress me with a trick" Christopher said with a smug face, and while Paige smacked his head I could hear Elizabeth let out an annoyed sigh.

"I leave my sister unattended for less than two hours and you managed to almost kill her?" I asked Christopher and he just open his mouth to try give an excuse but gave up half way.

"Don't worry, apparently he played doctor and cleaned her wounds" Nathan said smiling at me "Pretty sure I saw needles and threads somewhere" he laughed.
