"oh what about there," I said pointing to some random restaurant
"sure," he responded, we walked into it and went to the counter
"hi, how may I help you?" the man asked
"uh can we get a table for two please," Tomo asked with a smile
"of course, right this way," the Man said, we followed him and he seated us at a two-person table near the back
"here are the menus, I will be back soon to take your orders," he said with a smile before walking away, Tomo and I picked up the menus, I skimmed through the different food options and decided on something small, the waiter came over with a notebook and asked us what we wanted
"Can I please get 3 egg rolls and a rainbow aster please?" Tomo asked, the waiter nodded writing down his order before turning to me
"And for you Ma'am?" he asked
"uh, may I please have 2 bird egg sushi and a berry and mint burst?" I asked
"sure thing, your order should be ready in about 10-15 minutes," the waiter said, I nodded at him and he walked away
"so is the jewelry the only thing you're gonna get today?" Tomo asked looking up at me
"Maybe, I might also get him something else," I responded and he sighed
"why don't you get yourself something?" he asked and I shrugged not knowing why
"I guess it's because I don't actually need anything, besides it's his birthday soon and I want to get him something nice," I said and he smiled
"you care about him a lot don't you?" he asked and I nodded
"he's a great friend of mine, I am thankful for him," I said with a smile, Tomo and I kept talking when our food arrived, we began eating and once we finished Tomo insisted on paying the bill
"come on let's go," he said, we left the restaurant and as we were talking I noticed a certain book
"that looks interesting," I said, we walked over to the bookstore and i picked the book up I read the back and then looked at the title
"Onibudou," I muttered, I walked up to the counter and put the book down
"Oh, Y/n hello there," I looked up and noticed that Xingqui was standing behind the counter
"Hello Xingqui," I said giving him a bright smile
"is this all?" he asked scanning the book, I nodded and he placed it in a bag
"well that will be 25.42," he said, I nodded and grabbed out my purse, I gave him the money grabbed the book, and said bye, walking back up to Tomo I checked the time
"The bracelet should be ready, I'll be back," I said he gave me a nod before I walked to the jewelers, when I entered the lady at the counter looked up at me and smiled
"The bracelet is ready miss," she said grabbing the bracelet and its box and placing them on the counter, I picked up the bracelet and looked at it
"It's beautiful," I said, placing it into the box
"the total should be $112.22," she said, I paid for the bracelet and grabbed it off the counter before saying bye, I walked back to Tomo and we finished our shopping trip before deciding it was time to go home, we got in the car and drove back to my place first when we got there I gathered up my stuff and got out
"bye Tomo, thanks for today," I said and he smiled in response, I closed the door and went into the apartment complex, when I got to Heiozu's and I's apartment I unlocked the door and walked in, Heizou was sitting on the couch asleep with the T.v on, I sighed and placed my stuff on the bench, I walked over to him turning the T.v off and placing a blanket on him, Grabbing my stuff I walked back to my room and got changed hiding his presents in my wardrobe, I lay down on my bed and fell asleep.
