"Luna, are you okay? " Faye asked getting concerned.
"Faye, just another reason to focus on the job, and not on the hot boss"
"You should confront him". she said looking at me.
"Over what? This all but confirms nothing happened. Let's just focus on packing".
She looks at me for a moment like she wants to say something, but then just nodded and goes to pick my books .
"AHHH! what about these book? Your god damn whole fuckin book store", she says looking at my book shelf.
"You mean my romance, smut, fantasy books store?", I said looking at them dreamily.
"These books are my love, my life, whenever I'm sad and lonely. They are always with me 24/7".
"And my book boyfriends! Don't get me started", I told her.
" I know bitch! "
'CHRISTIAN ALLISTER'. That man is obsessed over 'GIANNA', I sighed

"And what about that app on your phone? Umm what its called", she says thinking about it, " YAY WATTPAD ", she said looking at me sheepishly.
"I am a wattpad who're", I told her.
"You won't understand the feeling Faye.."
"Okay okay! Let's focus on packing" she said holding her hand in surrender.
I started aggressively wrapping fragile items in bubble paper, telling myself it's fine and I don't really care.

But deep down, my heart says differently

Later that evening,
I return to the De Luca residence to find a older man waiting for me in the lobby.
"Please to make your acquaintance, Ms. Di Viao I'm Carter, the De Luca family driver. I'll be at your service today to assist your move", he says as I reach him.
"Wow, I have never had my own personal driver before", I said giving him a shy smile.
Carter gives me a warm smile and leads me across the lobby and up to the penthouse.
"I hope you enjoy it here. Mr. De Luca spoke highly of you this morning said he feels you're the perfect addition to this family"
"Thanks, Carter. I really appreciate that".
Carter gives me a small smile before leaving which reminds me of my father.
I take deep breath and try to clear my head of the engagement drama as I unpack.
I have just picked up some of my lingerie when I hear a knock. Silas peeks his head through the open door with a smile.
