Chapter one

Chapter 1,
The sight
Sofie's POV

I was in my room, I sat quietly on a sea anemone brushing my long blonde hair. My eyes were the color of the Caribbean blue as I stared into the mirror.

My tail was blue also, but it was a lovely turquoise color. I put the brush down and got up, swimming to my door.

I left my room and quietly snuck out of the palace.

Oh...didn't I mention that I was the mermaid princess of an entire kingdom? I will take my deceased parent's place in the throne as soon as I marry. It was a stupid rule to me, I mean why did I have to marry....just to assume the throne?

I hate it, I currently am not searching for anyone because I'm taking my sweet time.

Oh, I forgot to tell you my name...I'm Sofie.

I heard a voice yell at me from behind, I recognized it instantly....it was my guardian. "Just where do you think you're going??" He asked with an annoyed voice.

I smiled and turned around and shrugged, "I'm just going for a moonlight stroll..." I replied and he gave me a look.

"And this stroll doesn't include the surface right?" He asked with a curious look.

"Course not! I'll see you later!!" I waved and swam off quickly before he could say another word.

I swam near the shore, next to my favorite rock that I liked to sit on when I was surfaced.

I broke the surface with a sigh, the beach looked so lovely in the moonlight and the moon was so bright and big. It's elegant glow was enough to put me at ease, I felt at peace and then I noticed someone walking.

No! There isn't supposed to be anyone here! No one comes here at night!!
As I peered closer at the figure I realized he was male. But not only was he a male, he was quite handsome and I was intrigued by it.

"Why are human males so handsome?....no one in my kingdom can compare to him..." I said out loud which I meant to say in my head, and I let out a gasp. The figure was looking directly at me, except....the human was gone and in its place was.....a wolf.
The wolf had begun to jump from rock to rock going directly for me.

It must....it must be.....a werewolf!!! No!! Have I truly fallen for a wolf?? The mermaid's most dangerous enemy??!

I moved quickly away as the wolf jumped in the water, it began paddling around frantic like and I knew it couldn't swim....no...he couldn't swim...

Kody's POV

I was in my pack house with my father conversing with him. A blonde she wolf was clinging to my arm because I had just had sex with her.

So what don't judge me....I'm Kody, the alpha's son and soon to be alpha when my father passes.

3 hours of a long boring conversation passes......

I walked along the beach quietly in the moonlight I jerked my head when I heard a voice, "no one in my kingdom can compare to him..."

Instantly I saw a mermaid, I growled and dashed toward it jumping from rock to rock when I transformed into my wolf, zach.

When I jumped into the water however I couldn't swim. It was dark and the water was freezing, after almost an hour of struggling my wolf gave up and I transformed back into a human.

I slowly started to sink to the bottom, my eyes were still open but barely I didn't have the strength to fight anymore.

Guess I deserve this....after all I treat woman terribly....could This be my punishment?...perhaps I should've considered their feelings....

In the darkness I saw a fish.....no a girl?.....a mermaid.....I let out my last breath of air in a scream and I slowly started to blackout. But before I did I got a good look at the mermaid....she had long blonde hair.....

Next thing I knew, I slowly opened my eyes and saw a girl on me. As I sat up I saw I was on the beach, I looked at the girl....she had long blonde hair and my eyes went wide.

"Are you a mermaid?!!" I yelled and I grabbed her throat flipping her over to where I now held her down. She stared up at me in surprise and i found my eyes wandering down to her cleavage.

It was perfect in my eyes, I resisted the Urge to touch them. As I looked at her legs they weren't fins. I quickly got off her and apologized.

"Sir...I found you on the beach right here, you weren't moving so I was going to do CPR but then you were alright..." She responded with a smile.

Damn...I should have remained unconscious for a longer time.... I let out a sigh and smiled at her.

"Thank you, I'm kody. What's your name?..." I asked

"My name is Sofie, nice to meet you!" She now had sat up and waved at me. "I best be going now" she said and started walking out.

"Wait!" I yelled after her and grabbed her arm, she blinked at me in confusion.

"Please, come stay at my house for a while. I want you to have dinner with me...." I told her sweetly.

Good thing she didn't know my true intentions were to keep her, I wanted to make this human my property....I was determined too....she will be my Luna of the pack....

Before we knew it, we were headed to my pack house. I intended to tell father who my Luna would be and I would do everything in my power to seduce this girl.....no matter how long it took, even if I had to chain her up.....I would not lose her....she's mine forever....
