Leo sent me a video of Donnie and Mikey pretending to be rich junk buyers, and they almost sealed a deal to buy the whole junk yard. I was also sent a video from Donnie of them all singing about their snow day that I was unable to join. Also a video of Leo getting pushed over by Donnie from April. And one where Raph wanted Leo to hit him, and Donnie was going to hit him with his tech-bo but was stopped. They all made me laugh, but then they all made me feel sad and lonely. Sure I had Splinter but he wasn't the best company. So I usually spent all day in the lab either building, coding, drawing, or reading. I even wrote a few poems and short stories to keep myself occupied. I got another video from the snow day of Raph, Leo, and Mikey falling down from trying to put a flag up for the Jupiter Jim Sails the Seven Galaxies, even though Pluto Vacation 4 is the best JJ movie.
As I was reminiscing of how my mother has stopped me from experiencing fun things with the people I actually care about, I felt my phone buzzing under my head. I had been in bed all day, and somehow my phone ended up under my pillow, but I still answered the phone.
"You are conversing with y/n," I say.
"Hey n/n, wanna hang out with Sunita and I?" April's cheery voice rang into my ear.
"Actually, why don't you guys come here, I have something I wanna do today with you guys," I say, "if you want to, of course."
"Of course! We are on our way!"
We hung up, and after more laying and waiting they both walked into the room. "Lock and shut the door," I said before any hellos were said.
"Isn't this Donnie's room too?" April asked as Sunita shut and locked the door.
"He can suck my dick," I deadpan, and sit up. "Anyway, you know the Amber Alert Situation?"
"Yeah, no one really cared at school." April says, "Except that one guy Aiden and Fiona- you know two of the most popularist kids in school- they were asking me if I'd seen you and stuff."
"Oh," I say. "Well, I- I need your help to get rid of it, like I return home and I run away again, or something," I suggest.
"That won't work," Sunita inputted. "I mean, how would we be sure that she wouldn't put another one out as soon as you leave again?"
Then there was banging on the door, "Y/n! Why is the door locked!?" Donnie whined.
"We are busy," I said back.
"I left my bandana in there, can you get it for me?" His muffled voice asked. I rolled my eyes and got up. I grabbed the purple fabric off the desk and opened the door to an annoyed Donatello. His arms were crossed until he extended one to grab the bandana. I held it away from him, so he had to chase it, the scene looked pretty ridiculous. I held it way behind my head so he leaned forward trying to get it, and then he did, but our faces were almost touching. I blushed as soon as he got his bandana because our figures touched too, and when he realized the position we were in, he also blushed. He then stands back up and starts heading back the other way.
"You're welcome." I say as he walks away.
"Thank you." He mumbles loud enough for me to hear.
I turn around and face the two girls, and shut the door, "Anyways," I say, stretching it out, then coughed awkwardly. I sat back down on the bed, while April was on the chair, and Sunita was on a crate on the floor.
"I think I have something that will work," April says looking at both of us.
---
"Camping!" The four turtle boys chanted over and over again.
"Boys! We leave for intense survival training in exactly one minute." Splinter shouts from the tank.
"Survival training? I thought we were going camping." Mikey says waving his marshmallow sticks.
"It's just like camping, only you learn which bugs are the yummiest and how to drink your own sweat." Splinter replied. I silently gagged.
"Thanks April and Sunita, for helping Y/n hold down the fort-" Leo says but then I nudged him harshly. "Even though she doesn't need help, for what I formerly thought was gonna be a fun weekend."
"Don't forget to change Sheldon's coolant thrice daily, that means three times-" Donnie starts.
"Donnie, I know how to take care of Shelden, it's fine." I say stretching out the last word. Then I give Shelden a scratch behind his ear, making him giggle.
"Boys! In the tank! Let's go, let's go! Move it!" Splinter yelled.
They all got in the tank and then shut the door, and immediately after the two girls high fived and chanted girls night, dragging me to the living room area.
The tv was playing Sauce That Hog, and Sunita seemed into it, while I was finishing my book, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.
"Seriously? The barbeque channel!?" April yelled. "This is not what I had in mind for girls night."
"Mhm, toooootally agree," I say in response.
After more chanting from the TV and Sunita, a phone was shoved in between my book and face. "We are going to a concert!"
"Oh no no no! You are not dragging me along!" I say.
"I can't believe you dragged me here," I said as we walked into the concert.
"Sunita! Your Cloak and Brooch!" April yelled as she turned into goo.
"That was a present from my grand-googilie!" She shouts and despair under April's jacket as we are outside now.
"We're gonna hunt down the jerk who stole it." April said while pacing back and forth.
"I'm just gonna dip." I say and start to leave, good thing April was too busy ranting to notice.
"Glad I got out of there, maybe if I hide in the garage and watch tiktoks they can't drag me back." I thought out loud as I walked through the layer.
I made it to the garage and opened the door, but the tank was still here. I took out my phone and called Donnie but it didn't work, then I dialed Leo, which also didn't work. I called Raph and then Mikey but they didn't answer either. I just sat there, thinking of what I could do, so I called April.
"Hey Y/n why'd you leave!" She asked when I answered the phone.
"I got bored, anyway the Tank is still here... What am I supposed to do? Did they leave it on purpose or..?"
"I don't know, maybe try calling them?" She asked.
"No, I already tried, they didn't pick up." I informed her.
"Well, just wait till we come back?" She said then hung up.
"Wait until they come back, they say! Wait till they come back." I sigh, and sit down on a chair.
After a couple minutes of contemplating what to do, there was some rustling from inside the tank, and it started moving a bit. It ended after a while then my phone started ringing.
"You are conversing with Y/n," I say.
"How long have you been out there?!" Donnie yelled.
"A while.." I say with a mischievous smile and voice. I spun around in the chair. "I tried to call all of yous but you didn't answer, it just rung and rung and rung and rung and r-"
"OK, I get it! Get us out of here, please!" Donnie yelled.
"No can do, you put the lock down and now I cannot fix it." I say.
There were on and off phone calls for the remaining 24 hours, I took a couple hour nap, and when I woke I got some food. After another two hours they were finally let out of the tank.
They all were yelling and celebrating. "So how was camping?" I say innocently, with my legs crossed.
"Oh it was great," Leo said sarcastically.
"Hey back from your trip already?" Asked April walking over to the door of the garage. "Hey, what does this big red button do?"
I got up and ran for her, but I was too late. The door shut trapping the six of us in the garage.
"24 hour garage lockdown, activated."
"Donnie!" I yelled, "Why!?" I whined.
