We all shake our heads at Jaime, who just sighs at us.
"Spoilsports." he mutters under his breath before taking a drink of his beer. "What do you always say, Sam? Everyone or no one? We have to-"
"It's one or none, actually. But please Jaime, tell us what else you know that makes you so desperate for continuing this little game?" Nayeli says in a demanding, clam voice.
I hear Crew and Jaime sigh at the same time. They know something we don't. That's not just unusual for us because we always tell eachother everything and don't hide things but even Crew knows it. And nothing against him but he's the newest of our group for only Sabria's sake. And she isn't even talking to him at the moment.
"It's weird." Jaime starts.
"Kinda complicated." Crew adds in as Jaime nods at him.
"Please, do not act like this is the usual thing between you two. What do you hide? And why do you hide it with Crew? Crew is only here for Sabria's fucking sake and she's fucking avoiding him at the moment. For what? I don't fucking know! But what is it that makes you so important now and-"
"Whoa, easy there, buddy." Jaime pushes me down to the couch as I hide my face in my hands.
I feel the tears stream down my cheeks and I wipe them away.
"What's that about?" Jaime asks me as he hands me a handkerchief.
I wipe my eyes with it and then toss it into the trash bin. Jaime holds his cigarette teasingly before my face until I grab it. His expression seems shocked but amused.
I take a puff but then start coughing. What is this shit?
"Since when do you smoke?" Sabria frowns at me.
Nayeli does the same, looking confused. Jaime smiles and Crew... watches the tattoos on his arm. Weird people.
"I think I need that right now." I whisper before taking another puff.
Nayeli takes the cigarette from me and tosses it to ground, stomping on it with her feet. "What the hell is going wrong with you?" she asks me, clearly frustated as well.
Jaime doesn't looks as amused anymore, his smile left his face and is now replaced by a big ass frown. "What do you mean wrong?" Jaime asks her but Nayeli just scoffs in disbelief.
She scoffs and then a unbelievable chuckle leaves Sabria before she takes a puff of her own cigarette as well.
I look at Crew. He's still watching his arm, I look at it as well for only a few seconds until my eyes stop on a mini cigarette on his arm. How ironic. Who gets a tattoo like that? His arm is full of them and I only realize that now. Okay, he mostly wears long sleeves and sometimes even in summer but the todays tank tops is showing them off a little too well. Why did he get so many? I mean, Jaime has a lot but I don't think as much as Crew.
Whatever.
"He's suddenly swearing and.. and he's screaming, crying and suddenly you all have something you hide from us. It's frustrating!" Nayeli goes on at Jaime. She's speaking like I'm not even there.
We all look at Sabria as another ironic and dry chuckle leaves her.
"Frustrating. I'm sure." she says before standing up from the ground. "I'm out." she mutters, taking her skateboard with her as she leaves.
Nayeli sighs from beside me as she leans back on the couch I'm sitting on. Crew finlly looked up again as well but he's watching Sabria leave. Jaime sighs before taking another sip of his beer.
"The night of the hurricane, Sabria and I went out to surf. She almost got swallowed by the waves, Crew helped her out. She was the one who saw a man, Jimmy Harmson in the water. With the purple surfboard. We, at first, didn't believe her but then we saw him too. There was a big cloud of his fresh blood in the water." Jaime explains to us. He's speaking so dryly, like he doesn't even care about what happened.
Crew doesn't say anything to the story so I assume it's true.
"You did what?" I ask.
"You were surfing during a hurricanee?" Nayeli gets up and throws a notebook at Jaime in frustration.
"Jeez, chill Nay. Everythings fine." he answer her with an eyeroll.
"'Everything's fine'? You just casually told us about a man who you saw bleed to death. Not to mention the side note of Sabria almost drowning." she shrugs her shoulders with fake enthusiasm at him. "No big deel, right? I mean you weren't just out during a hurricane, surfing, hm?"
"Nayeli, we are fine now!" Jaime throws the notebook back on the ground.
"And you didn't even plan on telling us?" Nayeli goes on, talking about what's not so very right about the situation.
They can't just go out during a hurricane and surf. Hell, what? Why would they? How does one get a idea like that?
"Nayeli we are mother-fucking fine! Crew got Sab out of the water! Nobody is injured!" he yells frustrated at her.
"Okay, chill! Can we just stop this argument?" I yell at them.
They are all silent until I breath out in relief.
"I'm going now, bye." Nayeli says in annoyance.
I grab her arm and spin her around torwards me. "Hey, are you okay?" I ask her.
She nods at me and gives me a half smile. "Okay."
I pull her into a smal hug before giving her a slow peck on the lips. She smiles against the kiss and pulls me closer, just like the last week.
I hear someone clear their throat and we both pull away from each others lips to have a look at the one who decided to interrupt us. Crew watches us with an intense and cold glare as he walks away.
"Goodbye." he mutter to us before turning right and not being in sight anymore.
"What's that all about?" Jaime asks.
"What?" I ask him back, curious.
He raises an eyebrow at me and points between Nayeli and me. "You guys are a couple, all of the sudden." he points out.
I look at Nayeli, who smiles at me. "Yeah, we are." I tell him.
He rolls his eyes. "Cool, really. Didn't have to do it in front of me and Crew though." he mutters before walking away from us.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I grab his arm but he fights out of my grip.
"You know the drama between Crew and Sab, you teo can be a couple but you didn't have to act like that in front of him when you know he just tries to fighre this out with a girl he really likes. Maybe as much as you like Nayeli. Or even more." he says, I frown.
"I can kiss Nayeli whenever and wherever I want. I'm not going to not do it in front of Crew." I say, he sighs at me.
What does he have to do with Crew? Why does he care so damn much? It's making me frustrated.
"Whatever. I'm out." he calls out and waves at us before walking away.
"Now, I feel bad. I know how much Crew likes Sabria." Nayeli says with a sad expression on her face.
I kiss her lips one time before pulling away again. "Don't be. Crew can handle his emotions. Even with us being a couple."
Nayeli and Sam?!?

I hope you enjoyed Sam's pov a little. I wanted to start uncludinf everyone's point of view's (Jaime, Nayeli, Sam, Crew, Sabria).
