The members of the WayV subunit were all almost ready to go.

At last, Ten have Hendery his pants back and allowed him to get dressed.

Xiaojun and Kun had to help YangYang find his shoes because he lost them for the third time this week.

"Alright. Let's do a roll call to make sure everyone is here.", Kun said.

The members lined up, with Lucas and Sicheng now sporting matching black sweatpants and hoodies.

"Lucas?"

"Here."

"Good. Hendery?"

"Partially."

"Understandable. Sicheng?"

"Here!"

"Cute. Menace to society? I can see you from here."

"Always present.", Ten responded.

"Xiaojun and YangYang?"

"Present.", they said in unison.

"Alright. Let's go see our other members!"

The group excitedly left their home, piling into the group van.

Sicheng sat next to Lucas on the back row.

"Don't be nervous Xuxi. It's okay.", Sicheng said.

"This is a big day. I mean, so much could go wrong."

"But it won't. Have faith."

"I will try. Let's just hope they accept me."

Sicheng decided to hold Lucas's hand the entire way to the venue.

It helped to alleviate some of the nervousness.

When the group arrived, they all checked to make sure their outfits looked good before walking inside.

The venue was a large conference room where the 23 members of NCT would meet together and talk.

Some members were already there.

"Welcome! Hi! Nice to meet you all!", a tall boy said.

"Hi there.", Hendery replied, shaking his hand.

"I'm Sungchan. But I know who you all are."

"Nice to meet you Sungchan.", Sicheng said.

"Come in, sit sit. We're waiting for the others."

Sungchan guided them all to sit down.

Shotaro and Taeyong were already there, and greeted the WayV members.

Lucas sat next to Taeyong, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Within the next twenty minutes, every other member had arrived at the venue and took a place in the chairs of the conference room.

"Wow, I never imagined seeing all of us here together!", Haechan said.

"I missed you all so much! I fell likes it's been years since we've been together.", Mark added.

"Well let's get started to we can catch up!", Taeyong said.

With that, the camera at the front of the room was turned on.

Taeyong stood up to begin.

"Welcome everyone to our NCT 2023 Group Meeting!"

All the members clapped.

"To start things off, I would like to thank everyone for being here today. It's an honor to have all 23 of us together."

"Awww so sweet.", Johnny said.

"Gonna make me cry man...", Jaehyun said.

"Dramatic. But before we get into it. Are there any announcements from our members?"

Taeyong looked around.

Before Lucas had the chance to get up, Yuta and Mark did.

"Mark said he thinks I'm hot.", Yuta said.

"I do. And I have been trying to shoot my shot for weeks."

"I am not shocked.", Taeyong replied.

"Are any of us?", Renjun asked.

Lucas stood up.

"I have an announcement."

Everyone looked at him.

He looked at Sicheng, who smiled.

"You all know me as Lucas. The flirty guy who is talented in many areas and may or may not have good fashion sense."

"Definitely not.", Jisung said.

"Well, I'm not him. I...am Lucas, the non-binary member of NCT who could not care less whether they date a boy or a girl."

Everyone was shocked except for Sicheng of course.

"It took me a long time to realize this. But I feel confident enough to say it now. You all deserve to know."

"Thank you for telling us Lucas.", Jeno said.

"We love you no matter what.", Taeyong said.

"Really? You all actually accept me?"

The members got up and all embraced Lucas in the biggest group hug they could make.

"Thank you all so much. I love each and every one of you.", Lucas said.

"And we love you too.", Shotaro replied.

"Is now the time to say I have a crush on Haechan?", Jisung asked.

They all looked at him.

"Nevermind."
