"Somewhere"

Kurami said cutting Joey off who looked to her displeased. Atem was overhearing the conversation deciding to put his own input.

"Tea hasn't been herself, Joey. If you would have seen her that night, you wouldn't even recognize her. She's changed"

He said in a whisper. Joey frown in thought and decided there's always two sides to every story.

*Zoo*

After two hours walking around the zoo, the friends decided to stop for a break and have lunch.

"This burger is delicious"

Joey said happily as he took his second bite from his meal.

"Hey that one was mine!"

Tristan yelled as he seen one of his burger is missing.

"I didn't see your name on it!"

Joey yelled back after swallowing his bite.

"It was on my plate!"

Kurami was looking to the two friends bickering in amusement before looking to her boyfriend.

"That's his fourth one. Should I be concern?"

Kurami said to Atem who simply laughs.

"Let's just say Joey has a stomach like the bottomless bit"

"Amazing"

Kurami said taking a sip of her drink.

"Where are we off to next?"

Mizuki said curiously. Yugi's head was lifted when he heard Mizuki speak just so he can take a quick glance at her, after a few seconds he put his head back down. The small gesture was seen by Conner who remained in silence.

"Let's go see the reptiles and then to the gift shop!"

Tristan suggested. The friends nodded in agreement before finishing up their meal. As the group of friends were looking at every animal, Conner pulled Mizuki to the side for a private conversation.

"What's wrong babe?"

Mizuki asked curiously.

"Babe, be honest with me. Was there ever something between you and Yugi?"

Mizuki slightly frown.

"No, why? Did he tell you something?"

"No, I was just wondering"

He said with a smile.

"But it does look like he needs a friend. He's been quiet, is he usually this quiet?"

He asked. Mizuki shrugged before turning to see Yugi looking at the small scorpions that were behind the glass.

"Talk to him. He's just a friend right so there won't be an issue. Besides I promise I won't get jealous"

He said with a smile causing Mizuki to smile before taking a deep breathe and made her way to Yugi.

"Hey, aren't the little cuties adorable"

She said as she got close to Yugi to see the scorpions beside him. Yugi looked to her briefly before turning back to the animals.

"Yeah"

He said quietly. Mizuki looked to Yugi in slight concern before looking back to Conner who simply gave her a thumbs up. Mizuki turn back to Yugi.

"So I..."

Mizuki began to say but Yugi cut her off.

"I'm sorry"

He said as he finally looked to her. Mizuki slightly smiled at him.

"It's okay, I forgive you"

Yugi eye's open in surprise and smiled.

"Really? So would you like to try again?"

"Try again?"

She asked with a raised eyebrow in question.

"Yeah on going out on a date"

He said straightening up along with her.

"No, I'm staying with Conner"

Mizuki said seriously.

"But I thought..."

He said before Mizuki cut him off.

"We can hang out as friends but for a relationship, I think we know where we stand on that. Just cuz you came to your senses doesn't mean I'm leaving someone for you. Get real Yugi, this isn't a fairytale. We're friends, just and only friends"

She said before making her way back to Conner leaving Yugi heartbroken.
