Speak It Out Loud - Chapter 14

"i know you won't." Cindy said to Abby, then she hugged me.

i think she's pretty happy that i gave her my big note solo.

bzz bzz

i checked my phone out. and i see Niall texted me saying "ok meet you after rehearsals are done."

i'm so nervous.

-after rehearsals, @ the back garden-

i walked towards the bushes, sweeping the leaves and roots that are hardening my way to get into the back garden, it almost like a forest but it's really awesome in the evening, it's like a beach where you can see the sunset. but the difference is, this is a garden.

when i look up, there's Niall standing there, leaning on the woods looking lovely as usual, with a white plain t-shirt and a pair of grey jeans.

he heard some footsteps sounds from my side then he turned his head looking at me coming. he put a little smile on his face making me shivers.

"hi."

that word really changes it all. i never noticed Niall looked this good the last couple of weeks. it's like we just see eachother for the first time.

"hey, Niall."

"so what do you wanna talk about?"

Niall is looking pretty serious at the moment, my legs can barely stand still. i was nervous, really.

"how are you?" i asked nervously.

"lonely. how about you?"

"uhh it's been great, i guess.."

i looked down, hearing his answer. Lonely, wow. he's never alone i mean he's always with his friends, laughing, having fun together, and he has these 4 other boys as his best mates, what could've gone wrong? was it because of me? being gone? because of me, not being friends with him anymore or is it because of something else?

Niall just nodded. he didn't ask anything else.

"so the reason i'm here is to apologize. and to tell you how sorry i am, plus to tell you how badly i feel about our relationship."

"you didn't do anything wrong."

"how come i didn't?"

"because i was the one who is avoiding you all the time, i was the one who can't be a great best friend who you could trust, who you could lean on when you're sad. i was the one who listened to Louis, to do all of this..."

"do all of what?"

it was an awkward silence. Niall was admitting that what Cindy said was all true.

"Louis told me to back off of you cause.. i don't want you to get hurt, or heart broken." Niall explained.

"what?"

"and also, he's dating you JUST to get into your pants. and i didn't want that to happen. i was about to tell you that Louis had something bad planned, but he treathened me before i could, so... he even told me that he would kill you."

i was shocked. of course. he's right. Louis is a jerk.

"but, why are you doing this? i mean Louis is my boyfriend and we could just do 'it' everytime" i stated.

"because i wanted to keep you... pure. you need to save your 'it' to someones more deserving, so it'll be worth it."

Niall smiled, i laughed. he cared so much about me.

"so you're doing all this just to protect me? even the fight in the kitchen??"

"that was acting, and i was really bad at it. but seriously. i was bad, like really bad. you have no idea."

we both laughed really hard. and i feel like, all the lies, all the bad plans are all spoken. the truth has finally came out. if i knew Louis would be such a dick like this, i would never ever dated him. i know he got all the charms and everything, but he's just like what Niall told me about. a JERK.

"so what are you gonna do with Louis?"

"i don't know. break up with him or something."

"he's gonna kill me if i told you everything he's hiding."

"which is why, i'm gonna break him up in front of you. so you could tell Louis that WE, are unseparable. do you understand?"

"yeah. so, are we cool now?" Niall raised his eyebrows.

"i think so." i smiled, shyly.

finally, we made up. and thanks to Louis, we've gotten closer. nothing could break best friends apart, you know. after all the talking we had, Niall took a step forward, and hugged me really tight. he's like hugging his lost teddy bear for 10 minutes. i hugged him back. i feel so comfortable in his arms. he's like the best person in the world i know. almost every guy in this world wanted to get in the pants of a girl, but Niall is different. he wanted to keep me pure, and you know. that is RARE! he's like 1 of 10 guys in this world who would want to keep his girl friend pure. by girlfriend i mean a best friend, who is a girl. not a girlfriend, girlfriend.

this has been the third best memories in my life. the first one is when i got into x factor, until this stage. the second one is when i met Niall for the first time eating like a monkey in the corner, and third, having my best friend back.

okay! so this is NOT the end of the story, but it's the END for a WHILE. bc i'm having my final exams this whole march until 18 april so i'm gonna graduate in may! a very good feeling! but i am really sad to leave high school bc all my best friends are there. and of course, i would miss the hypocrite bitches who talks behind me a lot ;)
