Chapter Three: The Stranger By The River

Cookie's P.O.V.
The river was just up ahead. And the prison roof could be seen in the distance. We are almost there! God, I hope they are there... Lizzard gripped my hand tightly as the four of us dashed to the river. Once we reached it, we all stopped to catch our breath.
"Is there a bridge or do we need to swim across?" Lizzard asked. I looked around. No bridge was in sight. Shit! "Uh... I think we have to swim..."
"But what if there are squids?" Creeper asked. Spy pulled out his sword and looked at the water. "I'll kill them." He said. Lizzard shook her head. "Calm down. I'll check for squids." "Be careful Lizzard." I warned.
She slowly stepped into the water. It swirled around her and I held my breath. Then Lizzard turned to us. "Its only a block deep all the way across! A squid could sneak up on us even if it tried!" She exclaimed. Spy, Creeper, and I jumped into the water and followed Lizzard across. Once on the other side, I could breath again.
"That was sketchy as fuck..." Spy muttered. I nodded in agreement and looked around. The trees were thinker here, but I could still see buts of the prison through them. "Come on guys." I said, walking towards the building.
"Everyone be ready for an attack." Lizzard whispered. We all took out iron swords and walked. We were being very sneaky. The wind whistled through the leaves above us. I almost thought that I could hear a voice. But suddenly, I could! We all could. "Listen." Lizzard said.
"Is there anyone out there?" The voice said. "Hello?" "Don't move. I'm going to check it out." Lizzard said. Spy nodded and Creeper looked uneasy. We crouched behind trees as Lizzard slunk off. Who knows who that could be?

Lizzard's P.O.V.
I snuck away from my friends and followed the voice. It was a girl. I climbed one of the trees and managed to spot her blonde hair in the distance. It looked like she had purple in her hair too.
I climbed down from the tree and followed the girl. She was headed back to the river. Where is she even going? Slowly, she disappeared from my sight. Maybe I should stop following her. I turned and was about to walk back to my friends when a weight landed on my back.
"Who are you and why are you following me?" A voice said as I was pinned to the ground. It was the girl. I swung my sword backwards and heard it hit something. The girl gasped and fell off of me. As I rolled away from her, I saw blood dripping from her shoulder. Her black shirt was stained with it. The girl gave me an annoyed look. She brushed the hair away from her eyes and held her sword up with her good arm.
"Answer me!" She said. We both sat on the ground staring at each other. Her hair was purple on the ends, as if it was dipped in purple paint. And she had purple bows in her hair. I took a breath and spoke. "I'm Lizzard. I mean you no harm." I said.
The girl gasped. "Y-you're Lizzard?" She asked, dropping her sword. I nodded. The girl clutched her bleeding shoulder. A smile formed on her face. "Its an honor to meet you." She said. "I'm PeachyCheeks16, but you can call me Peachy!"
"Peachy? Okay." I stood up. "If you know who I am, does that mean you know what I am planning?" Peachy stood up slowly and said "I've only been hoping for it. But now that I have found you, my dream can be real!" "What dream would that be?" I asked.
Peachy smiled. "To meet my father!"
