amara wakes up with the most excruciating headache of her life. she groans as she slowly opens her eyes, then instantly shielding them after the bright light from a window hits her face. she moves her hand quickly again to take a second look though, when she realizes that that's not her window.
it's when she attempts to sit up, that she suddenly becomes aware of the tattooed arm wrapped securely around her waist, keeping her tightly pressed against the warm body next to hers. her eyes widen as all at once, she recognizes the sheets, the familiar scent of the detergent vinnie washes his clothes with hits her nose, and the events from last night all play back in her head.
she then clamps her eyes shut, allowing what she's done to sink in. she made out with vinnie the first time she ever saw him again. she literally initiated things. goddamn.
she slowly begins to sit up, trying her best to ignore the sleeping body against her until she has to pick up his hand and pry his arm off of her. her first attempt fails completely, seeing as it ends in vinnie tightening his grip around her waist and pulling her closer to him. she sighs deeply at the way he grumbles something she can't make out against her skin, deciding to attempt moving his arm again. this time she successfully moves it and quickly gets up from the bed.
