after amara hears three distinct knocks come from the front door, she swings it open to reveal a grinning vinnie on the other side. "hi, mars."
she tilts her head, biting the inside of her lip to refrain from grinning as well. "hi, vinnie."
"you look nice," he's quick to tell her, making her face redden instantly. something about the way he speaks his mind without hesitation just does things to her. his grin grows smug from the crimson coating her cheeks and he tilts his head just slightly. "you gonna let me kiss you tonight?"
"mm," she hums for a second to consider her answer before pushing her lips together, giving him a shake of her head. "not yet."
"alright then." he lets out a breath, giving her a look that suggests he intends on changing that. still though, he doesn't voice the thought.
the taco bell bag in his hand catches her attention, so she takes a step back so that he can come inside. a grin overtakes her face before she can resist it. "i didn't even tell you my order," she says as he closes the door behind him.
