Chapter 12 - Travel

"Sino nagsabing bumili ka talaga niyan?!" masungit niyang bwelta.

"Ikaw?" Hindi ba't nasa listahan pa nga niya 'yan? Kaya ko pinalitan password ng pinto dahil sa condoms na 'yan, eh.

"And you believed me?" With an eye roll and a hands on her waist, "Do I look like I can't live without men or a dick?"

Kasalanan ko na naman? I was just being generous and considerate with what she needs!

"Ang importante lang sa 'kin sa listahang sinulat is my nipple covers! Bras and condoms aren't on my list of essentials!"

Hindi pa siya tapos.

My gaze carefully examined her from top to bottom. "I honestly don't know, pinagbibigyan ko lang naman mga requests mo dahil nakakahiya naman sa 'yo. If you ask me to pick up some adult toys, it wouldn't faze me at all-damn!"

Napadaing ako kasi binato ba naman niya sa 'kin 'yong isa sa makakapal niyang libro sa gigil at inis na tingin ko naman ay deserve ko rin dahil hindi ko na natatantya ang mga salitang lumalabas sa aking bibig.

Lumabi siya, iritado. "What if itapon kita sa future at nang 'di ka na makabalik dito? Tutal fan ka naman ng time travel and all that yada yada yada..."

Maiinis na sana ako but she's just too adorable, even when she's mad. Who could possibly stay angry at that wolfy kitten woman with purple hair?

"Kung ganoon lang 'yan kadali, magpapatapon talaga ako with special requests pa. Gusto ko sa year 2159 at sana kasama ko na tatay ko," sambit ko na parang wala lang. Bahala siya kung pagtatawanan niya ako or what. Wala namang mawawala sa 'kin.

"Ah, here we go with the 'I'm from the future' and 'I'm a time bender' talk again, huh?" sagot niya, ayaw talaga niyang manahimik. "What if hindi ka talaga sa future galing? Sa ibang planeta talaga?" She took a quick look around my place. "And this place? It's not real. You're an alien being and this is your spacecraft. What if-"

"Stop it," pigil ko sa kanya dahil sumusobra na siya. "Hindi ka naniniwala sa time travelling pero sa alien, oo?"

She gazed at me and then broke into suppressed laughter, damn, it's irritating but she's cute in her own sophisticated way. "How about you? It's interesting how you're on board with the idea of time travel but skeptical about aliens."

I squeezed my eyes shut, tapping my head with my hand. Sumasakit ulo ko sa babaeng ito, matalino naman siya sa aking palagay ngunit hirap na hirap akong kausapin siya.

"Oh, come on. As a scientist, my belief system has no boundaries, alright? The universe is mind-bogglingly complex, which means aliens and other planets might just be out there. When you truly delve into it and look through the lens of science, you'll realize that everything can be explained." Look, it's important to have an open mind and truly consider all the possibilities.

"Scientist ka?" tanong niya pagkatapos niya akong titigan nang matagal at nakakailang na.

It's strange, I've never been so conscious of someone's eyes on me, but with her, it's making me feel a bit on edge, even though I know I'm quite good looking at walang dapat ipag-alala.

"Yes," pilit kong sagot. Tingin ko mag-e-explain na naman ako dahil marami na naman siyang itatanong panigurado. I find it refreshing when someone I know is curious and asks me many questions, just not the ignorant ones. But I have to admit, it can be a bit annoying at times.

"Are you one of those who does experiments on humans?" biglang usal niya.

I shrugged my shoulders, stood up, to return the condom to its box. "My experiments cover a broad spectrum of subjects, not solely focused on humans-I explore a lot of existing things."
