Beth was always considered dumb, school wise she was great she has all A's. It was the way she would act that threw people off.

"You're very smart Beth. But you don't act that way." People she knew would say. The way she dressed was too child like.

It was morning and all the girls were cooking expect Beth. They all thought she was dumb for mentioning mythical creatures and acting to ditzy. She didn't like being treated this way.

"Here eggs and bacon and you put it in your mouth to eat it." Leah said not intentionally trying to sound mean. No duh, where is it gonna go. She thought.

But Beth played it off."Oh okay." She let out a giggle. Beth felt enraged, how rude could that be. She ate her food angrily. Stabbing a piece of egg, but no one even notice. -She made sure her crop top and shorts didn't get dirty and continued to eat.

Becky looked all around the room, they all thought she was conceited, but Becky knew that wasn't the whole truth. Becky looked at her piece of bacon longly.

"Sorry. We can't get a chef to make you the best bacon in the world and it doesn't have a cute little bow."Faye said. Becky glared at Faye and Faye returned a glare back.

After breakfast Becky decided to go to her room, she didn't know where else to go and Natalie always spent her time in the garden she didn't want to bump into anyone.

"You okay?" Becky looked at Sarah who had entered her room.

"Why not?" Becky said looking at herself in the mirror, little did they know the scars she had under all the makeup she had on.

Leah started to look around the house. She felt unsafe for some reason and safe at the same time. It was the weirdest thing she had ever felt. She searched and searched for something to seem out of place but found nothing. Soon giving up she walked down the hallway and bumped into Faye.

"Hey watch it!" Faye exclaimed.

"Sorry I just, I don't know I expect to find something."

" What was that exactly, more maps."

"Huh? No the truth. Don't you find it weird someone give a house to six girls, who aren't even 18 yet or I believe aren't 18 yet." Faye looked at Leah in thought, then she spoke.

"You're reading to much into this. Just chill." Faye was walking be fore Leah could say anything else. " Oh and by the way, learn how to see people or get glasses."

Leah played with the hem of her shirt. Something didn't feel right, something that Leah didn't understand.

"You okay, you're looking a bit pale." Leah jumped but when she saw it was only Bethany she let out a sigh of relief.

"I think I made a mistake coming here."

"What you do mean, the house or the living room?"

"The house! Don't you find it odd that no one has showed up to greet themselves?"

" Maybe they want to make a grand entrance? I don't know." Leah sighed.

Faye rolled her eyes and shooked her head at her new friend who was looking through old newspapers finding nothing.

"Come on. Leah you have been boring all day." Faye said and Leah only glared at her. After their little talk the two girls became friends. Faye thought out of all the girls Leah could be trusted, Bethany was too colorful for her taste and Sarah was too much in everyone's business.

" I'm not. I just like being an old soul and I like mysterious and solving them."

" That's so fun." Faye said sarcastically and Leah threw her pen at Faye who caught it. " Nice try."

"I know, I know. Yes Jess I still look fabulous." Becky said and she sounded very conceited.

"No one cares, please leave your voice is giving me a headache." Becky glared at Faye.

" Excuse me, do you even know-"

"Don't care." Becky gasped."You hear that Jess, they treat me like shit."

Later during dinner Faye ate as much as she could, Becky looked at her with disgusted.

"Do you know how to eat!"

"Yeah duh. You use a utensil or your hands and then you eat it," Faye shooked her head in fake shame." You worry me sometimes." Beth laughed. " You don't know how to eat Becky."

"You're so immature more than Bethany! You're also the biggest bitch here."

"Aww thanks. Now shush I'm trying to eat. "

"You-"

" Can you two stop!" Leah said and both of the girls stopped but still glared at the other.

Faye wasn't rich like Beth and Natalie. She had to earn her own things with her own money. - Faye looked up to her mother who Faye thought of as a warrior. A warrior of poverty. Faye tried to help her parents with the rent back at home. When Faye's mom saw and read the paper she told Faye to accept it and Faye did.

"You'll live in a good house for a month." Her mom held Faye's hands. " We'll miss you but it's an opportunity."

The one thing Faye couldn't get out of her hand was that before she left her parents smiled at her. Sadly.
