~ Chapter 13 ~

After a while, everyone had quieted down, jimin and lisa fell asleep and now me and taehyung are awake.

"Taehyung" I said softly because I didn't want to wake jimin and lisa, He hummed in response then diverted his gaze from his phone to me.

"Let's keep this a secret" I said. "Keep what a secret?" He replied in a confused tone. "Our dating" I said. There was a long pause, just us staring at eachother. Then taehyung spoke

"are you ashamed of us dating? He asked in a low, cracked voice. "no no no, of course not taehyung!" I replied. "Then why?" He asked with a reflection of sadness in his eyes.

"I just feel like the girls at school will bully me for dating you. Because, you're popular, handsome and everyone's crush. And look at me, I'm ugly and dont have many friends. People will definitely judge me, bully me and force me to break up with you." I said while holding his hand.

Taehyung refused and assured me that nothing will happen but I pleaded because I knew how the girls at school are. After a while of me pleading, he finally agreed to keep our dating a secret.

~ time skip / a few days later / at college ~

Everything is going great!

Me dating taehyung without letting anyone know is actually working, we act like friends in college.

I begged Lisa and jimin not to tell anyone about this, They hesitated at first but eventually agreed.

~ jennie's pov ~

It's recess, I was walking past yoojin to get out of the class so I can go eat lunch. She was sleeping with her head on the desk, I guess she was not well.

I took a quick glance at her and was about to continue walking but froze when i saw something.

The pendant taehyung dropped... Yoojin was wearing it. I knew it.

I scoffed. "I guess I was right" I whispered to myself while glaring at yoojin with my tongue poking my inner cheek.

Before tears could form, I left from there. I need to tell Lisa about this.

While searching of her in the cafeteria, I finally found her, she was eating alone on one of the tables. I Hurriedly walked towards her and sat down. She looked at me from bottom to top then continued eating like I didn't exist.

"Lisa" I said gaining her attention. "What?" She answered with a cold look on her face.

"Is yoojin dating taehyung?" I asked. "Why do you care?" She replied with a slight head tilt and straight face.

"Just answer me" I said in frustration. "And why should I answer yo---"

"because I f*cking love him Lisa" I answered nearly shouting. She froze and my statement.

"You like him?!" She asked me in a angry tone. I nodded while controlling my tears. "Since when?" She asked me with one of her eyesbrows raised.

"Since the day I saw him" I answered, tears started to form in my eyes. "So thats why you were ignoring yoojin? Because yoojin and taehyung were friends?!" She said then slammed the table with her hand.

I slowly nodded, I couldn't deny anything she said. She scoffed then looked away, then looked back at me. "Couldn't have you just talked it out with her?!" She asked. I remained silent, I have no idea how to reply to her.

"You ignored a friend who's been with you for your whole life just for a guy?!" She took a pause then continued "do you have any idea how much yoojin was hurt by your behaviour?? I cannot believe you jennie." She completed her sentence while moving her head from side to side then left.

I just blankly stared at the table, tears made their way down my cheeks.

I have to accept the fact that she's right, I could've talked to her about it, why did I just ignore her? And that too for a month?!

She's the friend that had been with me during the hardest times of my life but still I betrayed her.

She'll never forgive me for this...
