" Oh- I- Thank you. ", (H/n) shuttered, becoming flattered.
" I've never seen a HiveWing quite like her ", The dragonet rambled, under her breath.
" Oh, wait, this is probably really awkward. I'm Cricket! ", Cricket introduced herself, shaking her head away from her curiosity.
" I'm (H/n). Here, you can have your books back now ", (H/n) introduced, then looking down at the stack of books.
" Wait, are you going to read this book? ", (H/n) asked, her (e/c) eyes glued to the first book in the stack.
" Yes, I just checked it out of the library today, why? ", Cricket questioned.
" Well, I'm a bit of a knowledge collector myself. I just find that book really interesting, I've read it before ", (H/n) stated.
" No way, another dragon with the urge for learning? Woah, you sure are interesting! I would love to learn more about you! ", Cricket expressed.
" It's a good thing that the feeling is mutual. ", (H/n) giggled, with a small smile.

After (H/n) and Cricket became friends, they continued to meet in a secret place everyday, usually at dusk or nighttime. Plus, overtime, (H/n) felt something in her heart that yearned for Cricket. (H/n) got nervous as she realized she had a big crush on the other curious dragonet.
(H/n) just knew that (F/n) would be upset, and even banish or kill both of them. Not because they are both girls, but due to the two dragonet's status. (H/n) became slowly aware that Cricket was poor, which (F/n) would absolutely not approve of. He just won't accept that his only true daughter is in love with a very low status HiveWing.
What was more heartbreaking was that Cricket suddenly stopped coming to their special place. (H/n) began to worry, hoping the sweet HiveWing was okay. It wasn't long before the (s/c) hybrid to find a criminal poster with Cricket on it. (H/n) knew Cricket wouldn't do anything harmful. So, she became suspicious of these circumstances, leading to creating a plan to find her love.
" Do you really have to leave? ", Leopard asked, in a quiet sad tone.
" Unfortunately, I do. I have to go find her. I will be okay, I promise. It'll be temporary, I will come back when I find her. ", (H/n) informed her stepsister as she was picking a bag of supplies for her journey.
" You promise? ", Leopard asked, with a raised eyebrow.
" Yes, I promise. You can tell Dad 2 and Amber that I'm alright and I just went on a little adventure. ", (H/n) nodded, hooking the packed pouch around her (s/c) scaled neck.
" I'll be expecting your return. ", Leopard stated, with a small sign.
" Thank you, I will be counting on it. ", (H/n) smiled, readying her wings.

The wind flicked through her (s/c) wings. She flew all across Pantala, with no luck, soon she decided to fly to the northeast point of Pantala. (H/n) had heard stories of the Poison Jungle, but she was told it wasn't there, as all the trees were gone. If Cricket wasn't in any of the hives, she was here.
(H/n)'s (e/c) eyes widened as she saw the tall tree start to appear in her view.
' It is real... ', She thought, feeling a strong connection in her heart.
She flew into the jungle, avoiding all the dangers as they snapped at her.
Eventually, she found something strange, it seemed almost like a village. Also, which surprised her was the connection she felt with this place. She knew she's never been here before, so why did it feel so safe and familiar?
