Astral’s POV

“Welcome back, Astral. We have been informed that you will be with the French tourists for a few weeks since two students are joining here in three weeks, right?”

“Y-Yes, miss. I-I will c-catch up with m-missed work I-I will m-miss.”

“I don’t doubt that.”

I had a conversation with my headmaster about assigning to the tour with Marinette. Mochi has done the same thing, which is a good thing for me.

I went to the library to relax for the evening before I will return to my dorm. Today was like a rollercoaster ride, sometimes it was calm, and sometimes it was shockingly crazy.

Today, I felt more confident than ever before. I defended Mei and her friends from a blonde banana boy, and I was able to read my story in front of people I just met. I feel proud of that, and I cannot wait to see what those three weeks will offer.

Maybe I will use that time to spend time with Mei.

To be honest, I feel more confident and happier near her. She is always happy and kind-hearted for everyone, and she inspires me a lot to not be shy near everyone, even though she doesn’t know about it. She deserves the whole galaxy. She doesn’t deserve to be bullied.

“Hey, Astral.” I stopped spacing out when I saw my best friend sitting beside me.

She is a black Asian girl with black side-shaved hair and dark brown eyes. She is wearing ripped jeans with a tank top, revealing her strong arms. She is known for her martial art and kickboxing skills, but in her free time, she loves to dance. Her father is a royal guard and her mother is a lawyer, so her family is pretty interesting.

“Hey, Shanique. How’s your day?”

“Tt. Alright." If you compare her with Damian Wayne, you would think that she is his missing twin sister. The only time she smiles is when she is hanging out with her parents, which is rare due to work, and on other very rare occasions.

"I heard that Mei is back. How are you feeling about that fact?”

“Well… I am feeling great about it. I will try to spend time with her when I can, especially since I am joining them on the trip.”
