His arms around me were warm and secure, and for a moment, I forgot to breathe. Embarrassment flooded my cheeks, a mixture of surprise and vulnerability washing over me.

"Careful there," Yeonjun said softly, his voice close to my ear as his grip on me remained firm.

My heart raced, and I was acutely aware of our proximity. His presence was so close, and I could feel the warmth of his breath against my skin. It was an intimate moment, unexpected and disorienting.

It takes a moment for me to come back to reality and that's when I heard my name echoed in the living.

Jungkook's voice echoed through the living room, and both Yeonjun and I turned our attention towards him.

Author's POV

As soon as Tae saw Jungkook he retreated from Yeonjun and corrected his dress.

Jungkook's stride quickened, his gaze shifting with a swirling intensity that denoted the presence of both his human and Lycus sides. His voice, when he spoke, resonated with the commanding authority of an Alpha.

"What's happening here?" Jungkook's question cut through the tense air like a blade. His expression radiated a wave of controlled anger, a storm of emotions contained within.

Tae's throat tightened, his pulse quickening at the sight of Jungkook's evident displeasure. His eyes flickered between Jungkook and Yeonjun, torn between revealing too much and keeping the situation from escalating further. He couldn't ascertain who was angrier at this moment, Jungkook or his wolf.

Yeonjun, to his credit, remained composed. He met Jungkook's gaze without flinching, his posture reflecting a blend of respect and determination.

Before Tae could explain anything to Jungkook, Yeonjun butted in and spoke on behalf of Tae.

"It's nothing Alpha...he was about to fall but luckily I caught him or else he would have destroyed his beautiful face," Yeonjun said and chuckled at the end.

Jungkook glared at Yeonjun. Gradually, Jungkook's attention returned to Tae. Their eyes met, a silent exchange of emotions passing between them. Tae could feel his heart racing, a mixture of anxiety and an unspoken connection.

"Well, I should be heading back," Yeonjun spoke up, breaking the silence. He nodded respectfully at Jungkook. With that, Yeonjun left, leaving Tae alone with Jungkook.

Tae's heart pounded in his chest as he faced Jungkook, uncertainty hanging in the air like a heavy cloud. The atmosphere was tense, and Tae wasn't sure what Jungkook was thinking. He hoped that Jungkook wouldn't press further, allowing the situation to defuse.

"Follow me," Jungkook said breaking the silence. Jungkook moved toward Tae's room. Tae looked confused but then he trailed behind Jungkook not knowing what's gonna happen if he followed Jungkook.

Jungkook was the first to enter the room, followed by Tae. As soon as Tae entered the room, Jungkook closed the door and pinned Tae on it.

Tae winced in pain as his back hit the door. Jungkook banged his hands on the wall trapping Tae between them. His intense gaze bore into Tae's eyes, his Lycus side making his presence even more dominant and powerful. The tension in the room was palpable, the atmosphere charged with a mixture of emotions.

Tae flinched for the nth time this day. He slowly opened his eyes to see Jungkook dangerously looking at him.

"Didn't I warn you not to go near them and make trouble?"Jungkook questioned.
Tae nodded nervously.

"Then why were you there with Yeonjun?"Jungkook's voice was low and edged with frustration, his eyes boring into Tae's. Tae felt a shiver run down his spine as his intense gaze held him captive. The proximity and the weight of his anger were suffocating, making it hard for Tae to think clearly.

"I... I didn't intend for that to happen," I stammered, my voice shaky under his scrutiny."He was the one who approached me."

Jungkook grabbed Tae's shoulder not so tightly. Tae tried to scoot away from Jungkook's grip.

"You seem to like his touch when he caught you and not mine. I AM YOUR MATE AND NOT HIM." Jungkook shouted. His voice echoed within the four walls of the room.

"Lycus," Tae mumbled understanding who was in control. He knows that Jungkook won't say something like that to him.

"I didn't like-" Tae was interrupted by Lycus

"You are still my mate and forever will be. If I see you anywhere near any person other than our members don't expect me to behave nicely it will be worse." Lycus warned.

Lycus's voice was stern, his eyes locking onto Tae with a possessive intensity. His fingers tightened on Tae's shoulder, his grip a mix of warning and assertion.

Tae could feel the intensity of Lycus's emotions, the storm of possessiveness and frustration that had engulfed him. He understood the depth of Lycus's feelings, but he also knew that they needed to find a way to calm the situation.

Without a second thought, Tae lifted his hand and gently placed his fingers against Lycus's lips, silencing him softly.

Tae's touch was gentle and warm, his thumb brushing lightly against Lycus's lips. Lycus's breath began to steady, his fierce gaze softening as he gazed into Tae's eyes. With a surge of courage, Tae lifted his other hand, cupping Lycus's cheek, and leaned in.

Their lips met in a kiss that was both tender and passionate. Tae's lips were soft against Lycus's, and he felt the tension in Lycus's body begin to melt away. Lycus responded with a mixture of fervor and gentleness, his arms wrapping around Tae's waist, pulling him closer.

The kiss deepened, their mouths moving in a dance of emotions that had been building up between them. Tae could taste the intensity of Lycus's feelings – the longing, the possessiveness, and the love that had always been there. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, a kiss that conveyed all the unspoken words and promises.

As the kiss continued, Tae's hand slid from Lycus's cheek to the back of his neck, fingers tangling in his hair. Lycus's grip on Tae tightened, and he deepened the kiss even more as if trying to pour all of his emotions into this single moment.

Their breaths mingled, and Tae could feel Lycus's heartbeat against his chest, a steady rhythm that matched his own. It was a moment of connection, of understanding, of reaffirming their bond. This kiss was wholly different from the kiss they both had the other time.

When they finally pulled back, their foreheads rested against each other, and their eyes met in a gaze filled with a mixture of passion and tenderness. Lycus's fierce intensity had transformed into a soft vulnerability.

"I didn't like his touch. I am only comfortable with yours," Tae whispered, his voice a soft reassurance. He could feel the heat of Lycus's breath against his skin, their closeness creating a cocoon of intimacy that felt both exhilarating and soothing.

"I am not someone who will go after other men when I have a mate. You don't have to worry about that." Tae said. His voice was calm not intending to anger Lycus.

"You and Jungkook don't want me as your mate but your actions are saying otherwise. If you want me just accept as one." Tae said looking straight at lycus eyes.

Lycus grip on Tae loosened and he took steps away from Tae. Without replying to Tae he left the room leaving in his thoughts.

Little did Tae know that It was not Lycus instead Jungkook was with him all the time.
