60. JULIET AND A RECAP OF THE EVENTS

"Hey, Lily." The girls embraced each other.

"I feel inexistant whenever Juliet is around." James complained playfully.

"Welcome to my world." His sister pulled her tongue at him before going to greet the other members.

The Potter girl moved to greet her best friends, Pandora and Amos, who she hadn't seen since Romy's birth.

"Daphne?" Juliet asked Amos, noticing she wasn't there.

"Sent her to France with Cedric and my parents. They're safe." He smiled.

"How is he?" She grinned, thinking about the other baby of their friend group.

"He's.. a baby." Amos laughed. "Apple of my eye."

"How's your baby?" Pandora asked Juliet. She was dying to see Romy again, but Xenophilius had to physically hold her back a few times.

"She's fine. I hope." Juliet tried not to think too much about it before she disapparated back to her baby.

"Shall we commence?" Kingsley called out to everyone.

"What with?" Frank asked.

Juliet stepped forward. "Let's hear everything since the last mission we've had. We need a recap of everything before we can figure out what's next."

Remus stared at his girlfriend, admiring how great of a leader she was without even realising. He had no doubt they were to win the war when he stood by her side. He snapped out of it when Sirius spoke up.

"So, we were split into three groups. Group one, us, went to Asia. Group two went to South America, and group three was sent to Africa."

"Yeah, we didn't find anything in America. Like, at all. We suspected that was the first place Edgar Bones went to." Amos nodded.

"Right. And we were attacked by Death Eaters when we went to Asia and got help from Chinese Aurors." Emeline Vance stated.

James continued. "So, we figured that there must have been something in Asia that they don't want us to know about. Or maybe something linked to Asia in some way. We didn't go back to investigate because it was too risky."

Pandora spoke up for the rest of her own group. "It took us a bit of time, but we found a wizard tribe in Africa that taught us Parseltongue."

"So when everyone was back, two more of us were taught the exact words Edgar Bones learned, just in case." Juliet concluded that chapter.

It was silent for a moment.

"I have so many questions." Ted Tonks admitted, others agreeing vocally.

"Starting with, why the hell were we attacked?" Sirius crossed his arms.

"How did they know where you were?" Lily jumped in the conversation, confused.

"How much are you ready to bet it was Mundungus bloody Fletcher?" Moody groaned, annoyed.

The matter of a traitor amongst them made the entire secret society uncomfortable. Fletcher was a coward, a good for nothing ready to sell anyone just to flee unharmed. What if there were more like him?

Juliet sighed. "Listen up. From now on, there is no longer time for any doubts. If you are afraid, which you should be, and would rather flee than fight with us, now is your time to back out. Step away from it all immediately. We can no longer be set back by inconveniences like that one. We can't afford any losses by treason when the battle hasn't started yet."

All eyes quietly roamed around the room, all looking for the weak-hearted that would take their chance to make it out comple unharmed. But, even though small parts of all of them wished to leave the country with their families, all they could think about was all the chaos and terror that would spread if no one was to form a resistance against the darkness.

Someone had to fight back. It sufficed to look at Juliet, who was so badly tortured and scarred, standing before them with a hard gaze, the strongest will, and the purest heart, and they too wanted to fight back.

"No one, then? Very well." Juliet hummed after a few minutes of silence. She gave them the amount of time for all members to think everything over one last time.

She continued back on the subject of the attack. "I think it had something to do with the last Horcrux."

"You think the last Horcrux would be in Asia?" James asked his sister.

"No, I think it's linked to Asia. Voldemort slipped up when he sent his Death Eaters to you. Why did he care so much when Fletcher told him about it? He could have sent them to all three groups or even sent people for us, who remained here, to be executed. But he only tried to get you away from there. Why is that?"

"Was there anything happening in Asia at that time?" Marlene asked curiously.

"The Circus Arcanus was on tour there at that moment." James shrugged.

"James, I think she meant something politically important." Regulus deadpanned at him.

One of the older adults present finally spoke up. "Perhaps he's not entirely far from reality." Aberforth stated.

"Whatever do you mean?" Pandora asked politely.

"My son, Aurelius, was a part of that circus for a while." He admitted.

"He's not a Death Eater, is he?" Peter asked bluntly, the back of his head getting smacked by Remus.

"Mate."

"What?"

"He isn't. Had he even lived until now, he would never have been a part of them." Their Headmaster's brother told them.

A few condolences were thrown across the room. Juliet felt for the old man. He was ripped off his child. What a terrible world they lived in.

"I don't understand what the circus has to do with the attack." Amos finally said.

Aberforth turned to Albus, nodding at him to come forward and talk. Hogwarts' Headmaster turned to his previous students, capturing all of their attention.

"We were not the only ones betrayed by one of our own."

All younger members thought that sentence over, confused.

"My God. We have an informant?" Marlene exclaimed.

"I knew it!" James threw his arms in the air proudly.

"Who?" Ted Tonks questioned.

"It's Severus Snape." McGonagall told them.

"HAH!" Juliet pointed at her brother, mocking him. "Knew it!"

James' jaw was on the floor.

"OH, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING! ABSOLUTELY THE FUCK NOT!"
