"Fuji-Chan?! Is it.. Is it really you?"

They turned to Kanroji Mitsuri, a heartwarming smile on their face. "I apologize for the long wait."

"Wah! You're not one of them! Thank goodness!"

"You little piece of shit," says Shinazugawa Sanemi with a ticked off grin. He ruffled their hair. "What took you so long?"

"Time had given me an opportunity, all that was left for me is to wait."

How you could resist the irresistible smell of human blood around you was beyond your comprehension, but you took your blessings. However, this turn of events could be used to your advantage, as you had thought of tactically prior: you could pretend to be what this demoness and her master wanted you to become, then when come face to face with that man, you could end the two at once with the help of your comrades. Recalling your past was hazy, but you still remembered your mission: eradicate all demons. The very idea was risky, sure, but even crazy can be seen as an opportunity; you were not going to let this chance slip away from your grasps, this could be monumental if executed correctly. You just needed time and patience, though time is limited, you find comfort in knowing that in a game of cat and mouse, you would emerge as victorious. You knew this very game of hers well, after all, you had lived your whole life with this demon. You clenched your fists, replaying the memory of seeing Violet's, your Kasugai crow's, body lying in a pool of blood. Over and over, like a never ending mantra, you apologized for being unable to protect her and for being weak. Another one whom you held near and dear to your heart has died by your hands, directly or discreetly, all because of your shortcomings.

"Alright! Split up!" Announces Himejima Gyoumei; "Kanroji, Iguro and Tomioka will handle Uppermoon Zero! Shinazugawa and Fuji, you're with me against Kibutsuji Muzan!"

"You sure Fuji shouldn't be the one against this freak instead?" Asks Iguro Obanai.

"I weakened her just enough," you say in a disgusted tone; "As much as I would have liked to finish her off, as you said-." You turn to the man who started it all, the man who stripped everything away from you. "I have a score to settle with."

"Heh, ain't that all of us," agrees Shinazugawa Sanemi.

"Your loss."

*caw, caw, caw* "Twenty-five minutes left until sunrise!" *caw, caw*

With now new profound determination, springing into action, you and your comrades split to your respective opponents. Repeatedly, blow after blow, you and your fellow comrades dealt heavy damages on both sides, but you knew that it was not enough. Playing the two demons for fools was not the only thing you thought of doing, this after all is the battle that predetermine who wins ultimately overall: demons or humans. Something so big and drastic must happen, something that from both sides could never predict or expect to happen. From the corner of your eye, you saw the others had just finished off Uppermoon Zero; and although as sad and solemn as you begun to felt, you shook away these thoughts because you had a job to accomplish.

You looked at Kibutsuji Muzan maliciously, exclaiming violently, "It is time we end this charade! Come here!"

"You wish for death so painfully so? Then allow me to do you the honor!"

As his long arms came rushing towards you and your comrades, you quickly yelled out, "Hold him down!"

"Blood Demon Art: Glazed Lillies."

"What do we look like to you?! A sack of bricks?!"

Lillies sprouted out from your body before its petals slowly plucks themselves off, beginning to swirl around Kibutsuji Muzan's body, immediately cutting and slicing his arms from reaching you and the others. Poisonous gas were being emitted from it, intoxicating the air; the toxins too strong that even your comrades had to fend for themselves from you.

"Blood Demon Art: Glazed Vinery."

As you walked towards the demon, the vines that erupted from the palm of your hands helped your comrades to hold the Demon King down. Though you had just recently turned into the very thing that you despised, having no time to forgive out just what exactly is your Blood Demon Art nor how to use it and its limits, you left it to your nonexistent imagination as to what it could and can be. Now, standing face to face with the man that was responsible for humanity's tragedies, seeing the fear and rage and confusion in his eyes before you, you smiled gleefully.

As your hand traveled to Kibutsuji Muzan's face, you caressed his cheek gently, then dug your nails into him; hearing his grunts of pain. "You unfortunately are in luck. Had the unforeseen circumstance not happened, perhaps you would face death by your lonesome. However, as I am now, it would not make sense for anymore demons to survive after your defeat." You turned to Kamado Tanjirou, who stood atop the rumble mountain, looking into your eyes with shock and disbelief.

"✞н@⊥ ♭ꪮ¥ ღʊş⊥ şʊяṽḯṽε."

A phrase that had been echoing inside of your head like a never-ending mantra. Who is speaking to you from the beyond? You had not the faintest clue, yet you knew for certain that the boy is in fact the Sun Breathing Slayer before you.

"Fuji-Chan! What're you saying?!"

"Oi, oi, oi! What type of uptight bullshit are you spouting now?!"

Upon the horizon, you see the skies turning into a fiery glow. Turning back to the Demon King, you inched closer to him. You wrapped your arms around his neck, embracing so tightly that no matter how viciously Kibutsuji Muzan thrashed around to get you off of him and to be freed from the shackles you placed upon him, nothing had budged.

You closed your eyes, smiling softly, saying, "You will not be forgiven if you hold back, Kamado Tanjirou."

The static in your ears deafens, your mind clear and relaxed. You held onto the man with all of the strength you had left. Feeling the scorch and agony of the most powerful technique known to man, for the first time in a long time, you finally now know the meaning of peace and tranquillity.
