Weretiger problems

"Of course sir!" The owner exclaimes

With that Y/N took his cane and went for the the elevator in the back of the café, pressing the button for the highest floor. The last time Y/N was here was when the terrorist the Azure king was out and about. Normally Y/N would only send one of the Melusines, but when a case gets more complicated Y/N himself will deliver the information in person to maybe give some guidance too. With a ding the elevator door opened and Y/N went over to the door of the agency. He took a small breath preparing himself for chaos, but opening the door it was calm. Kunikida and Dazai weren't here the Tanizaki siblings were sitting at their desks and Jun'ichiro was filing reports, Ranpo is sitting at his desk eating candy and Yosano was probably in her room or at the mall.

"Hello sir can I help you?" One of the assistants asks

"Yes, I have a meeting with the president right about now." Y/N said

"Name please." The assistant says

"Neuvillette Sir! Haven't seen you in a while old man!" Ranpo greets Y/N

"Yeah it has been some time ago Ranpo, how are you?" Y/N asks

"Oh fine as always! How else should the best detective in the world be?" Ranpo states

"Well of course, I would have guessed nothing else. How is that newer guy doing? Dazai was his name right?" Y/N asks

"Oh he is doing pretty well!" Ranpo answers

While these two were talking they didn't see the assistant girl who asked for Y/N's Name staring at him with a wide open mouth.

"Y/N Neuvillette!? As in the former chief justice Neuvillette?!" She shouts

"Yes, that would be me." Y/N smiles at her

"I-I see, should I show you to the President or do you know the way?" She asked

"I know where I have to go, thank you. Ranpo I should go now, I am already a few minutes late now." Y/N tells the detective

"Well of course, go on and talk with the boss about this tiger incident." Ranpo says sitting down at his desk again

As Y/N walked through the agency to the door in the far back, the rooms silence was filled with the tap of his boots and the cane and then a quite knocking.

"Come in." Yukichi's says from inside

Y/N openes the door and steps inside closing the door behind him.

"Ah there you are Y/N. Good to see you." Yukichi says

"Yes it's definitely a delight to meet again, how are your kids?" Y/N asks

"The members of the detective agency are fine, as always. Have you met Yosano? She said she wanted to see you again." Yukichi answered

"No I haven't seen her, it's good to see how much better she has it here, I couldn't Imagine what would have happened if we hadn't stopped Mori those years ago." Y/N answers

"Yeah... Well how are your kids Y/N?" Yukichi asks him

"The Melusines are fine too, Sigewinne will maybe start to work in the café downstairs soon. And I am taking some pastries home for them." Y/N says

"That's good to hear.... Well then let's start with Tiger incident. Seeing as you are here, I was probably right to assume there is more to this then meets the eye?" Yukichi asks

"Yeah, pretty spot on. The tiger is an ability user. A young boy going by the name Atsushi Nakajima. He can't control his ability as it seems, when the shine of the moon hits him he turns into the tiger. And he himself seems to be unaware of that happening. He was thrown out of the orphanage he resided in probably because they were afraid of the tiger. And since my Melusines were tracking him he has killed anyone, a few animals were killed and some fruits and vegetables were stolen." Y/N explains

"I see a young boy who is a weretiger." Yukichi concludes

"But there was something bugging me about his ability." Y/N states

"What is it?" Yukichi asks

"A simple weretiger would have what? The strength, the speed, the hearing and the smell enhanced. But my Melusines saw how he was shot by someone in panic. The bullet went right through. Nearly no blood, only a bright light and then the wound was gone." Y/N explains

"That is weird..." Yukichi agrees

"And because of that weirdness I came here." Y/N states

"What do you reckon is the best course of action?" Yukichi asks

"Take him in. And I will keep one of the Melusines on his tail. Something about his ability is strange and it is the best if we know what it is." Y/N proposes

"I will not take someone in just because they need to be monitored." Yukichi states

"Then give him a chance. Give him an entrance exam, see if he fits in. I'll have a Melusine following him, if you take him in or not. I guess Kunikida and Dazai are on the case?" Y/N asks

"Yeah I can do that and yes they are." Yukichi answers

"Then they will probably have him soon. I will come around again in a few days to see how everything has gone down and how you would judge the kids character. I wish you a good day Yukichi." Y/N says as he stood up

"You two." Yukichi says

Something was truly strange... Why was Y/N so interested in that boy? Yukichi had to investigate that soon.
