A Spontaneous Vacation

"This way." He took my hand and led me out of our room all the way to the shuttle buses in front of the resort. I didn't think we'd be heading to one of the parks so soon but I'm not complaining. "I wanted to go to all of those fancy restaurants, but there weren't any reservations left." He sighed disappointingly. "Basic shit will have to do."

"Felix." I aggressively whispered. "Language." Much like the child he pretends to be, he stuck his tongue out at me, then faintly licked my ear. "Oh, come on." I groaned, giving him a harsh side eye. "Since when do I have to tell you to behave?"

"I'm just excited." He explained with innocent eyes.

That excitement only increased once we made it to our destination. Hollywood Studios. Wooyoung said that it's crucial for Felix and I to get some sort of express pass, especially with our level of patience. More specifically Felix's patience since he was already dragging me by the hand.

"If one of these Disney people tell us to slow down, I'm going to be so embarrassed." I mumbled.

"Go right!" As expected, he didn't care. "That's where we're going!"

Just now, I realized that Felix may have forgotten he's terrified of any type of thrill ride. I guess his adrenaline rush is distracting him. Let's see how long it takes him to realize that Tower of Terror has a 130ft drop.

The last time I went to a theme park was with Wooyoung when we went to Lotte World before I left for New York. I see that all extroverts act the same in places like this.

"I think this one is going to be my favorite." I loved the dark, creepy ambiance.

"I feel like half your paintings look just like this."

"Which is why I like it." I smiled, wrapping my arm around his shoulder while we waited in line. "You're not scared, are you?"

"Nope." He shook his head confidently.

"You sure?"

"I'm positive."

The second the ride started to move, that positivity of his went out the door and he was latching onto my arm for dear life. Meanwhile, I was enjoying every second of it.

"Baby, look." I whispered, referring to the haunted family being electrocuted and then disappearing. He's been closing his eyes the entire time.

"No." He mumbled in fear.

"You might want to now." The ride cart shifted onto another platform, most likely where the drops are going to be. I'm fully prepared, but I know for a fact that he isn't.

"And why is that!" He screamed in terror as we launched up high and dropped back down. I was hysterically laughing because I didn't understand how everyone else was having the same reaction as Felix. "My butt is in the air!"

"Lift your legs up, it's more fun."

"That's even worse! Are you crazy?"

"Haven't you known this?"

When it came to an end, I was ready to do it again. Felix, on the other hand, had his hair in front of his face along with shaky hands. It was almost as if we weren't on the same ride.

"I'm going to die here." Felix faintly said, dragging me by my pointer finger as we walked outside.

"Where to next?" I smiled, somehow more excited than I was before, now that we've gotten our first ride out of the way. "That?" I pointed to the giant red guitar next to Tower of Terror. With a name like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, it may take some convincing.
