"Ow!" Jack exclaimed, as he fell over, and landed on his back. He winced, but he couldn't focus on the pain due to seeing the large green beanstalk shooting up into the air, seeming as if it was heading to the clouds.
"What in the name of Zeus..." Jack muttered, staring in awe at the Beanstalk. He sat up and then looked down at the trunk of the stalk. "Now that's magic. Wow..."
There was the sound of trickling and little dings. "Hm? What's that-," He looked around and saw gold falling down. "What?!" He looked up and saw more of it dropping harder. Jack tried to take cover, but then a large piece of a wood plank nearly flattened him. "Woah, ok!" He yelled after almost having a heart attack.
It all quieted down, so he looked around. Then, up into the skies, to where the beanstalk seemed to go.
"Is there.... gold at the top?" He wondered out loud.
There were many gold and trinkets around him already, but being the poor forger he was, he definitely needed more. Especially if he wants to hire a helper. So his first instinct was to climb the beanstalk.
But it was easier said than done.
It wasn't easy at all. The wind from that height made it nearly impossible to climb. Jack has climbed mountains before to retrieve a certain artifact that was a necessary part to use in a plan to build a shield, but this beanstalk was going higher than even a few of the mountains around the village. But Jack tried not to focus on that and kept his mind on what he was doing, or more over, what was at the possible top. All of that gold came crashing down, there just had to be more.
He climbed even higher until it all turned white. He was inside the clouds. It was much harder to see, but he could still see the green stalk that was inches from his nose. He pulled himself up, and with another grunt, he saw wood. "Huh?" He spoke as he pulled himself up into what seemed to be a shack.
He stopped for a moment and looked around the surroundings. It seemed as if the beanstalk crashed through the floor of a shed of some sort. "Where is this?" Jack mumbled to himself. He leaped and grabbed into the opening of the busted floor, and pulled himself onto the solid ground. After he got his bearings and dusted himself off, he finally had a chance to make sense of where he was.
"Wait... why does this shack look... ginormous...?" He thought out loud. He looked around, noticed a table, and some chairs, and stuff you'd normally see inside of a shack, but it looked tripled his size.
After being confused like this, he decided to take a look around and noticed a door. Most likely the door out of the shed. Jack was also questioning why the door was overly big. Did something huge live here? It couldn't have been... Giants? Giants are a myth. They've always been.
But before Jack could have another thought enter his brain, he heard-
Thump
Jack blinked, and his head instantly turned to the door.
Thump
Jack gasped, he scanned the area for a place to hide. Whatever was coming was huge, and probably dangerous due to what usually lurks on the outskirts of the village.
Thump
He noticed the table again, dashed over to it, and slipped behind the table leg. Just as his back pressed against the table's support, he heard the door bang open. Jack slightly gasped and covered his mouth. He didn't look, but he could hear somewhat loud footsteps behind him. Jack was breathing heavily, he had no idea what just walked into the shed. He was now beginning to have second thoughts about climbing the stalk. He had brought none of his swords, or tools. So if he had to fight off anything, he's screwed.
