Enid and Wednesday are thrown through yet another loop when the semester starts again after Tyler and Laurel Gates destroyed the school previously. Murders, love, runaways, and two very important councils come together in this Wednesday x Enid story
Esther burst into tears and apologized. "I'm sorry, I'm trying to cope with all of this. I never thought I'd lose my girl" she sobbed.
"No one thought we would lose her. We all hope she'll return."
Esther stopped Enid's father from taking boxes out and pointed at them and said, "You can choose something of hers to keep if you'd like."
Wednesday thought about it and sifted through her belongings until she found what she wanted.
"I didn't think that would be what you'd want" Esther said with a smile. "But consider it yours until she comes back."
When her parents left Wednesday opened her drawer and put the Winnie the Pooh book inside for safekeeping.

Shortly after the removal of Enid's belongings, Billie moved into the dorm. The headmaster had no problem placing Billie where she wanted and she used the excuse of being close to Maddie for work.
It sat with Wednesday weirdly to see someone else taking up their quarters. She was happy of course that she would have her girlfriend with her but it felt odd to see the once pink and bubbly half of the room now match her dark self.
Billie brought a table to put chalices on and candles, she even hung up posters of metal bands she liked instead of the K-pop boy bands that haunted Wednesday when she first met Enid.
Her nightmares eased up a bit and she felt guilty that they went away with Billie and not with Enid.
One night as Billie was holding Wednesday on her lap while they watched some cooking show, Billie kissed Wednesday on the neck from behind her.
With her eyes closed Wednesday asked, "What are you doing?"
"Do you want me to stop?"
Wednesday didn't answer with her words but pushed her neck back against Billie's lips. She continued to kiss her softly and moved her hands onto Wednesday's thighs, slowly rubbing them and working her way up.
Wednesday felt tingles in her body and got goosebumps from her touch. She felt an unfamiliar burn in her core and welcomed it.
"I want to feel you" Billie whispered in her ear.
Her hand worked its way under Wednesday's skirt and caressed her inner thighs and although it felt great it also felt wrong.
"Stop" she gasped.
Billie's hands flew away from her body and she scooted away from her. "I'm so sorry" she said with fear in her eyes.
"I'm just not ready" Wednesday said uncomfortably.
"I understand" Billie said and stared at the screen of the TV.
They ended the night without another word being said and Billie didn't make the move to hold Wednesday before going to sleep, and it stayed that way for a few more days.
