The townspeople were pleasantly surprised and filled with joy as they received gifts tailored to their desires. I made it clear that this was a one-time special gesture, urging them to participate in future gift exchanges or give someone else the presents they desired. The people agreed to the idea. I then turned my attention to the adventurers and my family, who had not yet received their gifts. I told them I hadn't given them the gifts and told them they were going to get them soon to my family I turned to the adventures. I gifted the adventurers and my family with the armor they were supposed to receive at the end of their stay, and they gratefully accepted the thoughtful presents, expressing their thanks.

I instructed my family to head home and discover the surprise I had prepared for them. They looked a bit puzzled as they were all at home before attending the town gathering to hear my announcement. Leading the way, we arrived home to find that the entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which left my family pleasantly surprised.

Under the Christmas tree, there were 18 presents, each carefully labeled with names. There were three presents each for Veldora, Velzard, Ciel, Luminous, Millim, and Mei. However, there was no present marked for me, as my gift was the presence of my loved ones. They expressed their gratitude for the presents but refrained from opening them immediately. Following my suggestion, I informed them that we would first enjoy a feast, savoring delicious food and relishing each other's company. After the feast, we planned to open the presents and discover the thoughtful gifts that I made for them. While Ciel and Velzard agreed to wait for the feast before opening the presents, Veldora, Millim, and Mei were more eager and wanted to open the gifts immediately. Velzard, however, scolded them a bit, convincing them to be patient and wait for the planned feast before indulging in the joy of unwrapping their presents.
I asked Ciel and Velzard if they could prepare something delicious to eat before we opened the presents. They agreed, and I thanked them for their help as they headed to the kitchen. I asked my daughters on how they were feeling, and they expressed their excitement, curious about the presents I had for them. I assured them they would have to wait and see. Veldora also expressed interest in what I got for him. I reassured him that, just like everyone else, he would have to wait until it was time to open the presents. I added that they shouldn't worry because I had chosen something that each of them would like or love with all their heart.
As I was conversing with my daughters, I heard someone calling my name from behind.
"Rimuru, love, what's going on?" Luminous said with a tired voice.
I turned around and saw a tired Luminous with sleepy eyes. I chuckled a bit and went to her, where she clung onto me, resting her head. I explained what was happening, and she listened carefully, fully understanding the details. After the explanation, she seemed happy. Glancing over to the tree, she noticed three presents with her name on them. I suggested to Luminous that she should go back to bed and get some sleep, assuring her that I would wake her up when it was time. However, she insisted on staying and spending time with all of us eating, opening presents, and enjoying the moment together. Seeing her determination, I sighed and agreed, telling her she could join us. This made her smile soon Mei and Millim hugged her, making Luminous smile more in return.
