~Rosie's POV~
I poke my lunch with my fork, not really that hungry but if I didn't eat everyone would ask what's wrong with me. "Rosie?" Jace asks. I look up at him to see that everyone was looking at me now. "Huh..?" I was so confused. "I asked how Travis was," dad says. "Oh heh, sorry.. He'll be fine, just a minor wound to his head, nothing major," I say after awhile. Everyone wouldn't stop looking at me as I finish my lunch and put away my dishes. I walk back upstairs to check on Travis real quick before walking back downstairs, but being stopped by Jace. "Something bothering you?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowed in worry. "No Jace, I'm fine," I say before walking out back and into the woods before anyone could stop me again. I go back to the tree I had hung out in while me and Jace had been fighting and climb up into it. I keep climbing until I can't climb anymore. Luckily no one knew where I was going, even though I probably just scared the entire family. I pull the clip out of my hair and look at it, before reaching up to my scar again. Is it even possible for me to make a scar look fashionable? Because apparently I can. I laugh to myself, my thoughts kind of amusing me. I start playing with some of the snow the tree had collected, not caring how cold my hands got. That's the thing about living in the forest, you don't really care about certain things, at least I don't.
I finally stop playing with the snow and just sit there, thinking. I look all around, taking in my surroundings, not caring how much time passed.
