VEX1C'S SUNNY will be going on hiatus due to leg injury.
last week, sunny returned to korea after experiencing "severe pain" in her leg while in europe for tour. during one of the shows, sunny tripped and fell from the stage.
on august 14, HYBE made made an official announcement about he situation.
hybe's full english announcement is as follows:
"hello, this is hybe entertainment.
please read following notice regarding vex1c member sunny's health condition and status for future schedules.
during a show in paris, france, sunny tripped and landed harshly on her leg. the next day, sunny was rushed to the doctor immediately after suddenly complaining about being in immense pain.
after thorough examination, the doctor concluded that sunny has broken her ankle and will need to immediate treatment. sunny was flown back to korea right after.
as a result, vex1c will continue with twelve members for upcoming schedules while sunny recovers from this injury.
we ask for your understanding regarding the deviations to prioritize sunny's prompt recovery, and we will update you once she is ready to return to the group's schedule.
