"H-how do y-you-" he fell down clutching his chest in pain.
"I always knew it you fool...stop lying now Sung in...since I met you all you have done is lie and disappoint me...you hate that word right? disappointment. You said I was a disappointment.." she walked towards him with every word making him crawl backwards in fear "You Called my son a disappointment....and.."
She glared at him with tears now, her eyes red.
"My daughter...my precious daughter...you tortured her day and night calling her an disappointment..a curse and what not...how hard would it have been for that child? She was not even at the age to understand that her dad is bad...and you know something..."
she walked towards him and knelt down to his eyes.
"disappointment" she raised her eyebrows before squinting it at him " its you"
He looked shocked....weak....shivering...shaking his head to deny..
"No no you need to hear it...that's the truth...you've always been the biggest disappointment...in everyone's eyes...had you loved me a little bit...had you loved your kids a little bit...this wouldn't have happened...had you not killed my child..." she spit out with red eyes " You didn't mess with a weak wife but the mother of a child who was murdered, now you'll face my wrath"
"You've hid me for quite some time...and now that I'm out, better show you how I can be huh"
His breath shook, tears In his eyes as he tried to move away from her.

She grabbed his head and forced a tablet into his mouth making him swallow it.

He gasped for breath and fluttered around.

"Mom?"
She turned around hearing an unsure voice to see her son standing.
"Mom!"
He came and hugged her and she had tears In her eyes.
She hadn't seen her son in years.
She pulled him away to look at the tears in his eyes.
"are you okay? I heard you got hurt?"
"I'm okay mom, they were all arrested"
She sighed In relief that those two were caught.
She never liked taejoon and this other guy who hurt her son's soulmate made her feel disgusted to the pit.
She drove away the thoughts and looked at her son.
She wiped his tears and looked at his face with so much love.
"Haechan-ah...I missed you"
She let her tears fall down and looked at her son who had grown so big and she felt a pang in her chest that he probably grew up all alone.
"mom....why....why didn't you want to meet me?"
His broken voice made her shake her head in denial immediately.
"No baby...your dad- no that man never told me you visited...he had given me drugs which kept me unconscious...he had moved you out somewhere else so I never saw you around" she spoke smiling sadly holding her son's shoulders so tenderly.
"I-i didnt even know- I'm sorry mom...I'm sorry I didnt do anything" Looking at her son apologising made her heart hurt.
"No no baby you didn't do anything wrong...it was all that man's doings and he's paying for it now" she spoke spitefully thinking of him.
"What happened to him mom...I didn't hear anything from him.." He asked tilting his head in confusion.
"He's in jail...I made sure he doesn't even remember who he is...but I have people who take care of him...I don't want to die without fixing things right.." She looked at her son smiling slightly.
"why is he in jail?" he asked in confusion.
"Because of.." she stopped and looked at her son , all the feelings she's been swallowing pouring out.
"haechan-ah...im sorry" Her eyes teary.
"What-"
"Im sorry I couldn't protect you and sera...I wish I could have saved her...would everything have been different?....I failed as a mother....Im so sorry...im sorry" She fell down as she cried holding her son's hands.
He shook thinking about the memory but quickly reached down to his mom hugging her.
"No mom...its not your fault...its fine...calm down"
He stroke her hair as she was crying uncontrollably.
"Hush now, hear my gentle song, Love will guide you all night long, In my heart, forever true, I'll always be here for you~" He sings a lullaby his mom always sang to him when he was young.
"Feel my love, soft and sweet, As you drift to dreams so deep, With each breath, I'll hold you near, Love will banish every fear. And that love is your mother's~"
Her tears stopped as she listened to her son singing the lullaby swaying her slightly, she pulled and looked at him.
"Im proud of you my baby bear" She smiled calling him by his nickname since years.
"Thanks mom for being so strong" He smiled tearing slightly.
"I won't let anyone hurt you ever again" She said caressing his hair.
"No I won't let anyone hurt you mom....I'll protect you...i'll never leave your side" He said taking her hand.
She smiled feeling proud of her son.
"Hyuck!"
They were interrupted by a sound coming from behind.
A figure came running through the park and saw the two by the benches.
"princess?"
Haechan immediately went to her and hugged her.
They both spoke as aera told how scared she was when she didnt see him next to her. Haechan laughed seeing her pout and looking away and asked sorry hugging her.
Haechan's mother smirked at the scene.
So much for her son saying he would be by her side.
Looking at how he is head over heels for this girl.
She was genuinely happy that her son found love.
And she knew it was true when they both looked at each other with golden light illuminating around them.
"ahem! Am I even seen or...?" She coughed out hiding her smile.
They both turned their head and haechan blushed realising his mom saw them being all lovey dovey.
Aera was just confused until she realised that it was haechan's mother. She had seen her in some pictures that haechan showed her.
" Nice to meet you mother..I am donghyuck's soulmate Park Aera" Aera said going closer to her smiling and bowing.
"Lee Aera" Haechan said under his cough going nearer making aera glare at him and punch him playfully.
Haechan's mom just smiled at their antics.
"Nice to see you dear..." she hugged her " Im happy my son found you.." she pulled apart and held her hands and looked at both of them.
She looked at haechan who was smiling at aera, before looking back at aera.
"I'm so happy that haechan has found his happiness...I was scared his life was ruined by that man but seeing you...I have no fears now...I'm content that my son is in good hands...I hope you'll live happy for a long time..." she smiled tears I her eyes. "Take care of my baby"
"Don't worry mother..I'll take care of him. I love him and won't let anyone hurt him" She said confidently making his mom nod and smile at her.
"wait a minute...should'nt I be the one saying that" haechan titled his head.
"Im glad dear...his brain Is a little...unique...yeah...he was a weird kid"
"yes I agree on that mother.."
"hey! are you guys ignoring me now!" Haechan stomped his feet at the two ignoring him and talking about how weird he is.
He folds his arms and looks away pouting playfully "guess no one cares about me now"
Aera who couldn't stand his cuteness quickly went in front of him and asked sorry's as he playfully shook his head.
"not even now?" she said acting cute.
Haechan stilled for a moment wanting to just hug the cuteness of her but he turned his head away playing hard to get.
"No~"
"Not even now"
"ah~~ your too cute!"
Haechan's mom smiled shaking her head.
She was glad everything is in the right place.
At least she managed to protect and save one child of hers.
The events with her daughter will never let her rest in peace.
Sung In will suffer.
And he will do so until she's alive.
He won't even be able to die on his wish.
That's his punishment.
