I was sitting on the couch in the living room, with Tiffany sitting between my legs.

She was telling me about what her mother was planning for her upcoming birthday party, which is in two weeks.

But I wasn't really listening. My mind was filled with thoughts of Luna. It was past 9.PM, and she still hadn't come home.

When did she start coming home so late? She had said she was going to the library, but was it really that far away, or was she lying to me? Had she gone somewhere else instead?

"Babe!" Tiffany voice made me look at her.

"You were saying?" I questioned.

"You weren't listening to me, what are you thinking about?" She pouts.

"Nothing. Are you not going to leave?" I said without hesitation.

Tiffany's face immediately fell into a frown.

"Are you trying to send me away? After we just, you know? Is that all I'm good for to you?" She asked, her voice wavering. "That's not what I meant at all, Tiffy" I said.

"Then why did you ask?" she asked, hurt in her eyes.

"I'm not leaving until we go on another round." She threw her hand on my shoulder and kiss me. I respond to the kiss but broke it shortly.

"Why? You don't want to?"

"I'm just tired, and it's getting late. You should get some rest, and your mom is probably worried about you" I said, trying to reassure her.

She looked unconvinced, but she eventually nodded and stood up. I took her bag and led her to the front door, holding her hand as we walked.

"You don't have to walk me out." She said, but I ignored her and kept walking.

We reached the front gate, and I opened it for her.

We stood there for a moment and I leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek, then watched as she got into her car. She waved at me and drove away.

I turned to go back inside, but then I saw Luna getting out of a car. A guy got out of the driver's side and they stood by his car, chatting.

I raise my eyebrows as I watch them, curious about what they were talking about. The guy finally got back in the car and drove off.

Luna saw me standing there and looked startled.

"Hey, Travis!" she said, her voice wavering a bit. She hurried inside the house.

I followed her in.

I entered the living room and the first thing I did was threw my bag aside as always.

I couldn't figure out why I was surprised to see Travis see me with Kyle. But I knew he would definitely want to know who he was.

"So, who is that guy?" he asked from behind me. His voice sounded curious, but with a hint of suspicion. I hesitated for a moment. "Someone I know." I reply.

"What kind of answer is that and when did you start hanging out with a guy?" He adds.

I turned away, not knowing what to say. I didn't feel comfortable sharing the details of my friendship with Kyle. It was still new and I wasn't sure what it meant to me.

Travis reached out and grabbed my hand, stopping me from walking away.

His eyes were full of anger, but I could also see a hint of hurt.

"Why is he so upset?" I couldn't help but wonder.

"Tell me who that guy is!" he demanded, his voice rising.

"Do you not remember? You were the one who told me I'm not getting any younger. I'm turning seventeen soon" I said, trying to keep my voice in the same tone he use.

"That doesn't mean you should be hanging out with random guys"

"He's not a random guy, Travis. He's my friend," I told him, pulling my hand out of his grasp. I started to walk away, but then I heard him say something that took me by surprise.

"I'll tell your parents about this." He had his phone in his hand, like he was really going to do it.

"Tell them what?" I spun around to face him, anger starting to bubble up inside me.

"About your new found guy best friend." He said, his voice full of accusation.

"About how you're hanging out with a guy they don't even know about?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He was going to tell on me to my parents? That was so immature.

"You wouldn't dare do that, that's childish and it's not even a big deal" I said, my voice shaking with anger.

"Childish? I'm just trying to look out for you. Your parents trust me, and I don't want to betray that trust. I'm pretty sure you're not a virgin anymore" He add, with a short smirk.

"What!" I gasp out loud. That really made me mad that I almost slap him hard but I controlled myself.

"I'm not a whore like your girlfriends. Stop comparing me to Tiffany, I'll never do such a thing, and you better not make up stories for my parents or else I swear I will never forgive you Travis" I glared at him and rush into my room, shutting the door with a loud bang.

I woke up earlier than usual today, probably because of the hurtful words that Travis had said. I went to bed early last night, my mind still reeling from our conversation.

I was sitting at the dinner table, sipping my coffee, when I saw Travis emerge from his room. Our eyes met, and he started to walk over to me.

I got up to leave, but he grabbed my hand and pulled me back to the table.

"What?" I asked, my voice full of irritation.

"I'm sorry for what I said to you last night. I know it was wrong of me to be jealous of your new friendship. I was used to being your only male friend. Can you forgive me?" He said, with a soft voice.

I looked at into his fox eyes which surprisedly had a great effect on me.

"I forgive you!" I said and I started to leave the table again. "Wait, don't go yet."

"Why not?" I asked, turning back to face him.

He walk up to me and lean closer to my hearing.

"It's fine if you hang out with him, but don't let him touch you or even try to kiss you or I'll get mad" He said in a whisper.
