I am standing off to the side, leaning on a wall next to an exit out of sight, while Maria is sat at a table next to Fury while Romanoff is sitting on the other side, and Captain Rogers standing, listening to everyone talk.

"This man declined the Nobel Peace Prize. He said, 'Peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility.' See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues." Fury said while holding a picture of Pierce.

"We have to stop the launch." Romanoff spoke up, getting right to business.

"I don't think the Council's accepting my calls anymore." Fury sarcastically states.

Fury then opened the black case that was on the table in front of him. Getting a quick peak I see that there were three computer type chips in the case. After a few moments the man, whom I have learned to be Sam Wilson, asked an obvious question.

"What's that?" Wilson asked, speaking for about everyone with his confusion.

"Once the Helicarriers reach three thousand feet, they'll triangulate with Insight satellites becoming fully weaponized." Maria spoke up to explain.

"We need to breach those carriers and replace their targeting blades with our own." Fury continued the topic.

"One or two won't cut it. We need to link all three carriers for this to work, because if even one of those ships remains operational a whole lot of people are gonna die." Maria jumped back in.

"We have to assume everyone aboard those carriers is HYDRA. We need to get past them, insert the server blades, and maybe, just maybe, we can salvage what's left." Fury announced in full director form.

"We're not salvaging anything. We're not just taking down the carriers, Nick, we're taking down Shield." The Captain spoke up, finding his nerve to do so.

"Shield had nothing to do with it." Fury tried to negotiate.

"You gave me this mission, this is how it ends. Shield's been compromised, you said so yourself. Hydra grew right under your nose and nobody noticed." Rogers spoke.

"I can tell at this point that the Captain is a big speech guy." I sign from behind everyone, so only Maria could see, I see her crack a small smile before going back to her professional face.

"Why do you think we're meeting in this cave? I noticed." Fury continued his very best to convince the Captain.

"And how many paid the price before you did?" Rogers defended.

"Look, I didn't know about Barnes." Fury spoke to Rogers directly.

"Even if you have, would you have told me? Or would you have compartmentalized that too? Shield, Hydra, it all goes." Just as Rogers finished his sentence I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
