Annika was talking to Shivaay on her phone. He was away at some business meeting and won't be home until this weekend. Shivaansh was playing with his toys.
Her eyes watched as he shakily stood on his legs. Her breath hitched and she switched the camera so that Shivaay could see.
"Shivaay he's-"
They both waited with baited breath.
Shivaansh stumbled before he could take his first step. Annika caught him before he could fall. The phone fell on the bed.
"I'll be there forever to catch you when you fall." She promised quietly, kissing his head softly. She was holding her son in her arms.
Shivaay smiled hearing the words, the phone was thrown aside on the beds. "And I'll be there for you." He spoke before the call was hung up.
On the other side Annika smiled contentedly.
