CASSIDY NEWBY, never had it easy. Really, never. Her mother died a few months ago and her father has already moved on. She always asks herself, "How to get rid of the pain of her mother passing away?"
But she doesn't. She doesn't know it's a Leap of faith.
What she also didn't know was that her father found someone new. Her name was Joyce Byers. She had two sons, one named Will and the other named Jonathan.
When her father told her that they lived in Hawkins, Indiana, Cassie knew there was something off about this place. She found the place familiar. She felt like she had been there before with her mother. But she didn't think much of it.
and as soon as Cassie knew it they had too move into that town she somehow feels familiar with.
Her mother's death was a bitter pill to swallow. But Cassidy's mother always told her when something bad happens, you will get something good in return.
Yet she's still waiting for the socalled good thing to happen.
and oh boy Hawkins was so boring. But that's what aurora said when she was 2 weeks in Hawkins but on the third week. She felt some kind off connection. You know like the connections magnets feel because they belong together? She felt the same exact one.
It kept leading her somewhere. A place that felt like it was in her home but in just another place. She always felt the strong connection in her house. But sometimes at mikes house, wills bestfriend. She would rarely feel it when she goes near a hospital.
she knew there was something off with this town.
She also sometimes sees a some kind off shadow monster when she's near will.
