"Hmm. You're finding reasons to boycott this hospital, Tae, just because you don't like that doctor. Nothing else," Jungkook chided gently, shaking his head before heading to the lab to give his blood sample for the test. "Still." Taehyung mumbled under his breath and went behind him.

After giving the blood sample, Jungkook and Taehyung sat next to each other in the waiting lounge. "When will we get the result?" Taehyung asked, his leg bouncing nervously.

"They will send it to the doctor's system entirely. They asked us to wait here," Jungkook informed him, trying to soothe his own anxiety. "Are you feeling any kind of nausea?" Taehyung inquired, his eyes searching Jungkook's face for any signs of discomfort. Jungkook shook his head. "Oh," Taehyung responded softly, sitting up straight in his chair.

"I am nervous, Tae," Jungkook confessed in a whisper, his grip tightening on Taehyung's bicep. "This is not the end of anything. Nothing will change between us. This is just a phase of life. That's it," Taehyung reassured him, his voice filled with conviction and love. "Why are you like this? Didn't you see how husbands complain and torture their partners in the name of a baby?" Jungkook asked quietly, his eyes reflecting his worries. Taehyung looked at him, eyebrows raised in confusion.

"In dramas," Jungkook clarified. "You know what? I do not watch those stupid dramas. I occasionally watch movies. Nothing like this is mentioned in the kinds of films I watch," Taehyung replied, winking playfully at Jungkook. "Aish, Tae. I am serious," Jungkook insisted, giving a pinch to Taehyung's bicep. "Ouch! Your nails. You should cut them, Jungkook," Taehyung complained, blowing on his bicep after giving Jungkook a mock glare.

"Hey, speaking of movies, guess what I brought? Grey hair dye." Taehyung interjected with a serious tone, catching Jungkook off guard. When Jungkook looked at Taehyung's face, his expression quickly changed to one of shock. "No way. We're not doing that," Jungkook responded, firmly pushing Taehyung's hand away.

"Oh, come on! Why not give it a shot? Let's switch things up this time. You can play the older role, and I'll be the younger one. How does that sound?" Taehyung proposed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Tae, seriously? We're here in a hospital, waiting for our test results, and you're thinking about this? This isn't the time or place for such discussions," Jungkook reprimanded, shooting Taehyung a stern look.

"What's the problem in discussing it at the hospital? I always find hospital skits hilarious. Alright then, let's go with that. You will be my charming nurse and I will be your.. mm.. patient." Taehyung joked, flashing a playful grin. Without finding Taehyung's antics funny, Jungkook got up and moved a few seats away, shaking his head in frustration. Taehyung couldn't help but laugh aloud catching the attention of a few patients and the nurses.

"Kim Jungkook," the nurse called out, prompting Jungkook to swiftly rise from his seat. "Please come in," the nurse gestured, leading Jungkook and Taehyung into the doctor's room. With mixed feelings of excitement and fear, they followed the nurse into the room, thinking about the results of their tests.

For the past few minutes, Jungkook's gaze had been shifting back and forth between the doctor and his husband, the tension palpable in the air as they waited anxiously for news. As the silence stretched on, Jungkook couldn't bear it any longer. "Doctor," he whispered, his voice trembling slightly.

"Mm. I'm sorry, Jungkook. It's a negative result," the doctor finally spoke, his words hanging heavily in the air. Jungkook's heart sank, and he bit his lip, his eyes seeking reassurance from Taehyung, who remained stoic with an unreadable expression.

"But the pregnancy kit..." Jungkook trailed off, his mind still grappling with the differences. "You can see the test result for yourself," Dr. Kang offered, handing Jungkook a printed copy of the results. With careful precision, Jungkook's eyes scanned every detail on the paper before he folded it, his mind swirling with emotions too complex to put into words.

"But the problem is not that," the doctor interjected, drawing Jungkook's immediate attention. "Problem?" Jungkook queried, confusion evident in his voice. "Yes, the problem lies with your womb," the doctor stated matter-of-factly. "My womb? But... didn't you say I am completely fine?" Jungkook questioned, his voice tinged with disbelief. "You were, but not anymore," Dr. Kang replied somberly. "What do you mean?" Jungkook pressed, his heart beginning to race with apprehension.

"Your womb is incapable of producing or holding a baby," the doctor disclosed, his words hitting Jungkook like a sledgehammer. All of a sudden, the world seemed to tilt off-center, and Jungkook thought the ground was giving way under him. He gripped the edge of the table immediately as tears brimmed his eyes unknowingly.

"What the heck is your problem?" Taehyung's voice boomed, filled with anger and frustration. Jungkook reached out to restrain Taehyung, who was on the verge of confronting the doctor, but he could as he felt his palms getting wet and trembling.

"Tae," he uttered softly, trying to calm his husband who was gripping his coat. "Sir, please. "This is a hospital," the nurse said, urging Taehyung to relax his grip on the doctor's collar and regain control.

"I know this is overwhelming, but please listen," Dr. Kang said, adjusting his coat collar as Taehyung sat back in his seat, his chest heaving with emotion. "If you do not remember, he was pregnant before," Taehyung said, his leg trembling with suppressed anger. "Indeed, he was. But was he able to progress further in his pregnancy? His womb is too weak to support a pregnancy. He won't be able to carry a baby to term," the doctor clarified, his words adding another layer of devastation to Jungkook's already shattered world.

"That is ridiculous! Let's get out of here, Jungkook. They're just talking nonsense," Taehyung exclaimed, his voice trembling with frustration as he rose from his seat, gripping Jungkook's hand tightly. "Why would I lie about something like that? You can verify the results yourself," Dr. Kang insisted, his tone unwavering.

"But... but no one has ever mentioned anything like this before," Jungkook whispered, his voice laced with disbelief as tears welled up in his eyes. "It is possible that it is because of your miscarriage," Dr. Kang said with sympathy, his face smoothing out. "But... But the doctor told me I was fine during my last scan," Jungkook said, his mind full of doubt and confusion. "Believe whomever you want, but we have a responsibility to inform you. We did not earn our reputation as the best fertility center in town by spreading lies," Dr. Kang stated firmly, his words echoing in the tense atmosphere of the room. Taehyung's grip tightened around Jungkook's trembling form, his eyes blazing with a mixture of rage and concern as he stood by his husband's side, ready to tear apart the doctor or whoever was causing his husband's distress.
