Evangelos sniffed the air.

"Yeah, I can smell it too. Where's Ruel?" He asked.

"Making us something to eat, I hope." Percedal smiled.

"I doubt it, he'd probably eat it all.." I mumble.

"I'd be surprised. When Ruel's around, it never smells nice!" Amalia says.

"I slept like a log. What about you?" Ruel asked as he stretched.

We all stared at the old man as he stared at us dumbfounded.

He clears his throat.
"Yes, well, anyway.. The smell of bread is coming from a village that's um.. just over there."

Amalia growled.

"You mean we slept outside in this weather when there was a village just over there?!" Amalia grabbed the old man by his beard.

"See? I was right. We weren't lost!" Percedal smiled.

"I'm sure it was a coincidence." I say to the Iop.

"One day, I swear I'm gonna—!" Amalia screamed.

We made it to the end of the forest, which revealed that there was indeed, a village.

"Wow! It smells really good!" Yugo smiled.

"Wheat fields! It's definitely a bakers' village."
Amalia said.

"Great! Let's go. I'd rather check out their bread than their fields." Percedal raised his hands.

There was a rumble and everyone looked startled.

"I think it's about time Dally had something to eat. He sounds really hungry, me too.." Ruel sighs.

"Nope, for once it's not him. Look over there."
Evangelos points at the village, which draws my attention to a bread.. monster.

The bread monster walks throughout the field and a man appears and starts attacking the monster.

"We have to do something! That poor creature is being attacked by a crazy baker!" Percedal yells as he runs down the hill toward the fight.

"Wait a minute, was he serious? Because if he was, he's just reached a new low.." Amalia says with wide eyes.

"No I actually think he was joking for a change." Evangelos responds.
