Chapter 44

{JJ's POV}

It was a few days later and Spence was finally getting to go home. "Hey." I hear as he raps his arms around me "Let's go in the supply closet." "Spence no. You're just getting out of the hospital after I shot you." I say looking at him "We're not doing it." "You're no fun!" He says waving his arms in the air "Shut up and pack." I say throwing his cloths at him "See now if you keep doing that, I'm going to take it as an advantage." He says smiling "Oh shut up." I say smiling back

{Reid's POV}

I know I'm still kind of out from all the medicine but I can walk and I'm talking fine, I need to ask JJ about something but I don't know if I should wait. "Hey JJ." I say making her turn and face me "Uh you know what never mind." "No Spence what is it?" She asked "It can wait." I say turning back around to put the rest of my cloths up. Once we get everything together, we leave. "Do you want to listen to some music?" I asked knowing the answer. I only asked because to avoid the dead silence in the air. "Sure." JJ says as I turn the radio on. The first song that started playing was one of JJ's favorites. Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran. I smiled as I heard her softly sining along. "Heart pressed to my chest, your lips pressed to my neck, I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet. And this feeling I forget, I'm in love now." She sang as she smiled. I really need to ask her but I can't do it right now, plus I want to see the kids. Sandy brought them back to the house and has been with them for the past few days. They came to visit for a little bit one day. Of corse we had to explain that I was ok. When Henry saw me he started crying because he was scared, so I had to tell him I just need a stitch or two. He didn't understand it, but he stopped crying and wasn't as scared. Once we pull into the drive way I still haven't asked JJ. I have to do it sometime soon, if I'm going to do it at all. Before I get out of the car JJ tells me to stay for a minuet and she takes my bags in. I told her it was fine, I'll get them but she insisted on her doing it. "Come on." She says as she comes back out. I get out of the car and smile at the house and go in. "Daddy!!!" Henry and Mason yell as they hug my legs "Be carful!" JJ says to them as Henry tried to jump into my arms "Hi Spencer." Sandy says as she gives me a soft hug "Hey Sandy. Thanks for taking care of the kids." I say smiling "No problem, any time I get to see my two favorite grandkids it's alright!" She says smiling "And this little one." "Come on mom." JJ says as Sandy puts her hands on JJ's belly. I still can't believe we're going to have 3 little ones running around the house. "I'm sorry honey I just can't wait to meet my granddaughter!" Sandy says "She'll be out in 7 and a half months mom!" JJ says "I know honey." Sandy says as she turns to the boys "Ok guys! I got to go!" "You don't have to go." I say "Spencer you, JJ, and the kids need some time for yourself. You don't need some old bat like me hanging around." Sandy says with a soft smile as I gently pick up Mason "It's no trouble at all Sandy." I say "You two need time to talk Spencer. I know it. You've got that look in your eye." She says as she walks over to me. Now I do have to tell JJ. "Yes we do, but it can wait." I say. Sandy's always been good at reading me and JJ. Especially me. She's like my second mom. She always knows when something's going to happen. "Spencer it's fine. I'll go. I'll be back though." She says smiling "Ok." I say looking at Mason who was smiling at me "Tell grandma bye!" "Bye bye!" Mason says as Sandy gently pinches his cheeks and makes him laugh "Bye bye you little munchkin." She says smiling and Mason laughs "Henry come give Grandma hugs!" I say as he runs back down the stairs "Hey!" JJ says "Sorry mommy!" Henry says slowing down "Bye grandma!" "Aw bye little man!" Sandy says as she hugs Henry "Bye JJ. Bye Spencer." "Bye Sandy." I say as she gives me a soft hug "Bye Jennifer." She says as she hugs JJ "Bye mom. Come back and see us in a few days, we'll go to the park or something." JJ says "I will. Bye sweetheart." Sandy says to JJ's belly as JJ rolls her eyes making me smile "Bye mom." JJ says "I'll walk you out." I say to Sandy "Go see mommy!" I say to Mason as I put him down. I watched as they all went and sat on the couch to find something to watch. "Thank you for coming Sandy." I say as we walk out "Spencer look, I know you have to tell her something. I can see it in your eyes, and it's something important to you. Just tell her ok. The longer you make her wait, the longer she'll start to get mad." Sandy says as she gets in the car "I know Sandy. I'm going to tell her when the boys are asleep." I say. I hope she doesn't yell but that's why I want to do it then in case she does yell. "Ok Spencer. Have fun." She says smiling "You too. Be safe." I say as she smiles and pulls up the window. I stood in the drive way for a few seconds to watch her leave. I don't know why I just did. "Home sweet home." I say walking back in seeing the kids asleep. Perfect. "Hey let me put them in their beds." "No let me." JJ says getting up "JJ I had stitches, you're pregnant. I can take them." I say lifting Mason first "Be carful Spence!" JJ whisper shouts "They'll be fine!" I say back as I put Mason in his bed then go back down stairs to get Henry. "Ok." I say once they're both in the bed "Spence lets talk." JJ says as I get get down stairs. Thanks Sandy, now I do have to talk to her and I don't know how well it's going to go. Their's only one way to find out.
