I agreed to it. She started walking ahead of me and I followed her. She rummage through my clothes, set some clothes aside and then tried paring them to know which one would look good on me. I was looking at her from behind, leaning on the table. Even though her back was facing me, she still had all my attention.
"Here! Go to the washroom and change." She said to which I nodded.
She gave me just a casual half sleeved T-shirt and a pair of trousers. It did look good but I was worried if I should be wearing this to the office. I came out of the washroom and looked at her. She seemed to like it.
"Don't you think, the outfit is a bit casual?" I asked.
"Here!" She handed me a blazer.
I wore it and it looked great. Still a bit casual but I really liked the look. I looked at her and she gave me a look as if waiting for my reply. I chuckled and turned towards her.
"It looks....pretty good." And that made her happy.

I came home by 8. That now has become my routine. I have always stayed at work till 11 but now I think it is high time that I stay at home and spend that time with my family. Ruth is a bigger part of the reason why I am early but my family is also a reason. Its like I want to spend time with them, do some stupid stuff, watch movies and do everything a normal family does. I want to spend time with her, I can't keep my finger on the reason as to why I want to do it but I just know it.
"Kabir!! You are early today." Maa said as soon as I arrived at home.
"Yeah, Just wanted to spend some time with you all." She was surprised but I knew she loved it.
Maa told me to come down after changing as it will soon be dinner time, so I headed towards my room and saw that it was empty. She wasn't at home yet. As soon as I came out of the closet after changing, I saw her removing her heels, her hair blocking my view. She must have noticed my presence as she looked up to me.
"Hey." I greeted her.
"You are early." She said being amazed.
"And you are late." I said.
"Were you waiting for me?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. I knew that she was messing around with me.
"Maybe." I said while walking a little closer to her.
"Oh...I'm glad." She said. Her cheek turned a little pink.
She pushed me away slightly and headed towards the closet to change. I waited for her to go for the dinner together.

After the dinner, Kabir wanted to have a bath. He said that it'll make him feel fresh and he'll sleep faster. I was just reading a book and waiting for him.
