One of the three was bleeding heavily from several slices of the Master Sword but even still he was fighting on. These men were so committed to the cause of the Yiga Clan. Was Master Kohga really that great at indoctrination or did these people genuinely support his beliefs without any form of manipulation?

"Oh Goddess!" A cry slipped out my mouth as one of the blade masters struck one of the Zora soldiers. I watched him fall to his knees. The Zora gritted his teeth in pain and blood ran freely from a deep cut on his arm. Despite all the pain, he looked up at the blade master with no fear in his eyes.

He did not even know Y/n yet he was ready to fight to the death because his Princess had commanded it. The respect the Zora people had for Mipha was something I one day hoped my people would have for me.

I bit my tongue to hold back a scream as the blade master mad another strike to the Zora soldier. This time he sliced his chest and this time, the Zora fell onto his back, blood pumping from his gaping wounds. His eyes weakly rolled around in their sockets, he looked from the blade master to me.

I stared hopelessly down at the dying soldier, I had brought these men on a suicide mission! What had I done?

"Tell Princess Mipha, I fought my hardest." He whispered to me with a trembling lip. I nodded my head but before I could say anything else, his eyes rolled back and his chest stopped moving. He was dead. Was it my fault? Was his blood on my hands?

I was suddenly snapped from my thoughts when a blade can swinging down at me. The blade master who had just killed the Zora soldier was now coming for me but before the blade hit me, it was block.

I expected it to be Link who had saved me but when I opened my eyes, I saw Ooma in front of me. Her arms were shaking as she tried to hold back the man's huge blade with her sickles. "Get out the way Princess." She commanded me and I did as she said.

I took a few steps back but I was trembling at the sight before me. All my allies were bleeding and out of breath. It seemed every time they knocked down a Yiga clan member, another woke up and joined the fight.

I looked to Link, he was fighting two at once, using his shield to block one while he attacked the other. His cheek was cut and blood rolled down from it. His eyes were trembling like his body and he was covered in sweat. The tight confines of the right was making it so much harder for Link and the others than it should have been.

Y/n had only been able to defeat them before because he had the jump on them but now they had the jump on us and it seemed we were doomed. It would be wise to retreat but I could tell by the looks on Link's and Ooma's faces that they would not give up so easily.

I looked to Ooma, the woman who had stabbed me before had just saved me from a killing blow. She was using her Yiga abilities to teleport around the battlefield, attacking the blade masters from behind. She switched between her sickles and her duplex bow, shooting arrows and stabbing into their backs.

She hopped around the battlefield like a bolt of lightning, stabbing her sickles into the back of a blade master before disappearing in a poof of smoke. I scanned the battlefield for when she reappeared above them all, her bow drawn as she fired arrows down on one of the guys fighting Link.

He looked up to her, flashing her a grin to say thanks but his smile only stayed for a second as it quickly returned to his usual straight face.

With Ooma's strategy of supporting Link and the Zora soldier, she seemed to be slowly turning the tides of the battle. Despite how much they did not get on, Link and Ooma actually made a great team.

"Aaaaaaahhhh!!!" A bloodcurdling scream echoed through the hallways. It was Y/n.

Not thinking, my previously trembling feet began to move. I stranded to run through the battle, avoiding the Yiga and the bodies on the floor. I was just acting without thought, I just had to get to Y/n.

I ran past Link and saw an empty corridor ahead of me but a sudden grip on my hand stopped me in my tracks. I looked back over my shoulder in panic to see Link gripping my wrist. Our eyes met. I knew he would want to stop me but I had to help Y/n, in whatever way I could.

Link looked past me down the dark hallway and then back to my eye. With a grunt and a nod, Link released my hand, "Thank you Link." I nodded in return before turning and running as fast as I could.

I had no time to look back now. My feet had a mind of their own as I charged through the hallways of the Yiga hideout. There was no more branching pathways so it was a clear path the Master Kohga's thrown room. Which meant it was a clear path to Y/n.

Y/n's P.O.V

I had been pounding my right fist repeatedly into Kohga's face but I hadn't underestimate my Master. I should have know he wouldn't be defeated that easily.

He made a spiked metal ball appear above me and it dropped onto my leg. "Aaaaaaahhhh!!!" I screamed in pain and sprung off of him and to my feet but in doing so, I allowed Master Kohga to get back to his feet.

His mask was now cracked and indented and I could now see a wicked grin from beneath. "You are truly my greatest student. If only you had been as loyal to the cause as your partner, Ooma."

"Do you really think she is that loyal to your cause, Master Kohga?"

What? I looked back to the doorway and there she was. "Princess Zelda?!" Kohga cried in shock. He was so surprised he almost fell over.

"Zelda, what are you doing here?" I asked, almost glaring at her. She stood there, out of breath, stands of her long blonde hair sticking to her sweaty skin. Her big green eyes sparkled with fear, concern and relief, all at once.

"I couldn't just let you face him alone." Zelda half smiled before wiping her forehead of the sweat that was forming.

I gritted my teeth as I looked back to Kohga, "Thanks Princess." I glared at Kohga, "You killed my parents so I was all alone. You made me depend on you but now I'm not alone. I have friends who support me, people who don't care about who I used to be... You have no hope of winning now Kohga! You're defeat!!" I shouted at him, before picking up my sword from the ground and clenching the hilt tightly.

"I'm not defeated till I'm defeated! You haven't even seen my super secret move yet!!" He laughed wickedly but I couldn't be bothered with this joke of a human any longer.

I ran at Kohga, jumping in the air and raising my sword with both hands. Time seemed to slow as I brought that blade down towards Kohga's head. "Y/N DON'T!" Zelda shouted as I swung my blade.

As I expected, Kohga teleported away in a poof of smoke. I had trained against him so many time, I could predict his every move. I knew my old master would teleport to my right side, ready to make a counter attack so as I came plummeting to the ground, I held my sword straight down and stuck the tip into the ground.

I pivoted my body on the hilt, spinning round on it. As I spun round on it, I extended my leg, kicking Master Kohga in the face at full force. "Aaahhhh!" He shouted as he fell to the ground and began to wriggle around.

But I quickly landed over him, my feet planted on either side of his body. I grabbed the collar area of his suit and lifted him by it. "You are not my master and I will not kill like you taught me to. I will not become what you wanted me to." And before he could respond, I raised my fist and brung it down at full speed into his face.

His mask shattered as and fell apart as his head smacked into the round. I dropped him and he fell to the floor unconscious.

I was panting heavily and my body was shacking from all the rage that had filled my body. I stared down at Kohga, I wanted to kill him so much but my friends had taught me there was a better way.

Suddenly I stopped trembling as I felt two soft arms wrap round me. My breathing slowed and I looked down to see Zelda. She was hugging me tightly, her face buried into my chest. I hesitantly wrapped my arms round her waist and hugged her back. "I'm so proud of you Y/n... I-I-I thought you were going to kill him." She sobbed into my chest.

I gently lifted my hand up, and placed it on the back of her head, stroking my fingers gently through her long blonde hair. "I wanted to... I probably would have if you hadn't appeared... Thank you Zelda... You saved me."
