"Of course! He can't do anything without me, Auntie!" Seungkwan said proudly, making Mingyu roll his eyes.
Hyorin chuckled. "Look how adorable you two are in your new uniforms, especially our baby Seungkwan. Why are you still this cute?" She pinched Seungkwan's cheek, causing him to giggle.
"But Auntie, Mingyu said I'm ugly," Seungkwan pouted, his lips jutting out in a mock display of sadness.
Hyorin widened her eyes in surprise. "Really? That's not true. You are so cute and pretty, Seungkwan-ah," she reassured him, stroking his hair gently. "And Mingyu, that wasn't nice. You shouldn't say that to anyone, especially our cutie Seungkwan." She gently scolded her son, who responded with a glare at the now-smiling Seungkwan.
"Rat," Mingyu muttered under his breath, earning a playful tongue-sticking-out from Seungkwan.
"Ah! I just had an idea. Why don't the two of you take a photo in your new uniforms? It's your first day, after all!" Hyorin suddenly suggested with excitement. "Wait here, I'll get the camera."
And that was how one of the most cherished photos Mingyu had was taken, just days before Seungkwan left for New Zealand without telling Mingyu anything.

On Sunday evening, Mingyu and Seungkwan's moms made their dinner plans a reality. They had successfully convinced their sons to join them for a relaxed and enjoyable night together.
The two families dined at a sophisticated restaurant that had a strict formal attire policy, ensuring that only those dressed appropriately could enter. After a delightful meal, they chatting casually over glasses of wine. Seungkwan was particularly thrilled, as he was finally allowed to partake in the same drink as the others, even if only in small amounts. The limitation didn't bother him; what mattered most was being able to enjoy a bit of alcohol like everyone else.
At that round table, the conversation was mostly dominated by the mothers, who sat beside each other, sharing stories and updates about their lives. Their laughter and animated chatter filled the room, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Meanwhile, the head of the Choi family, seated beside his wife, occasionally directed questions across the table to Mingyu, inquiring about their business partnership. Mingyu responded respectfully, nodding and offering thoughtful answers at the appropriate moments.
