Michael Havoccultist: [Muttering] "You wish."
Suddenly, a blinding flash of light lit up the sky, followed by a barrage of flaming arrows. Michael's eyes widened in horror.
Michael Havoccultist: [Yelling] "Everyone, overboard! Jump into the sea!"
Flaming arrows rained down, setting the ships ablaze. Explosions followed as hidden bombs detonated underwater, tearing through the vessels. Soldiers scrambled in panic, diving into the sea to escape the inferno.
David, Michael, and the surviving soldiers but injured fought their way to shore, swimming desperately against the waves. As they neared the land, the village's calm facade shattered into chaos. The North Kingdom's forces, led by Queen Alesia Gloryspell, were ready for them.
Scene 3: The North Kingdom - The Hill Overlooking the Village
Alesia Gloryspell stood atop a hill overlooking the village, her gaze cold and calculating. Her archers readied their explosive arrows, their aim true.
Alesia Gloryspell: [Commanding] "Prepare the second wave. I want them annihilated."
Alesia's archers unleashed another wave of explosive arrows, devastating the remaining ships and creating a scene of total destruction. Her cavalry, armed and poised, advanced toward the incoming forces.
Alesia Gloryspell: [With disdain] "David Runeaxe is mine. Kill the rest."
On the beach of the North, David and Michael fought valiantly, their swords flashing in the dim light. But they were soon overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of North Kingdom soldiers. Michael, despite his formidable skills, struggled to keep David safe.
Michael Havoccultist: [Defiantly] "It was an honor to fight for you, David. Protect our prince until the end!"
Michael fought fiercely, but the North soldiers surrounded them. Despite his valiant efforts, David was stabbed with a knife on his chest and Michael got captured. As David's body was bound and taken away, David was paraded through the streets of the North Kingdom, his defeat starkly evident to the people. The North Kingdom's banners flew high, and the town square was filled with jeering onlookers. Alesia Gloryspell approached him with a cold, triumphant smirk, her victory evident in her commanding presence.
Alesia Gloryspell: [Mockingly] "Kneel before your true queen, and I might let you and your friend go."
David Runeaxe: [Defiantly] "I will never kneel to a woman."
Alesia Gloryspell: [Sneering] "Then you will die as you lived, foolishly."
As Alesia's soldiers closed in, David was struck down, his body collapsing under the weight of the assault. Despite his dire situation, Michael Havoccultist, though gravely injured, tried to protect David. His efforts, however, were in vain as he was overpowered and restrained.
Alesia Gloryspell: [Coldly] "He's not worth the trouble. Chain him up and prepare him for transport. Let him be a warning to his people."
Michael was quickly overpowered and shackled. He was forced onto a boat, chained and beaten, his condition deteriorating as the North Kingdom's soldiers prepared him for the journey. As David's lifeless body was removed, Michael was left with the grim task of returning to Lothaven.
The boat, now carrying Michael back to the West, was a symbol of the North's dominance. Michael's injuries and chains were a stark reminder of the dire situation. He was to deliver a message of impending doom to Arthur Wyvernmourn: the North Kingdom would invade Lothaven in 31 days. David was paraded through the streets of the North Kingdom, his defeat starkly evident. Alesia approached him with a smirk, reveling in her victory.
