"No she wasn't lying. I'm at this girl from schools slumber party."
"Slumber party? Ain't y'll to old for that?"
I laughed, "Girls could never get to old for a slumber party..Is there anything else you want because we're about to start cutting the cake."
I actually didn't even talk to anybody at school so the slumber party comment was a waste, and I also lied about cutting cake, because I actually was seeing someone walking up to me. And I didn't need him hearing the person walking up to me, or did I need to be on the phone in the first place.
I didn't even give him a chance to talk, as I hung up the phone once I could see the person even better. It was a female, with dark brown skin, and short dreaded hair. She looked like a dude with all the black she had on, with a pair of black timbs.
I didn't think anything of it, though, because I was just ready to go, and with everybody else gone, I was just waiting to sell my last bag.
I slipped my phone into my pocket and jumped off the wall, once the girl started coming close to me. She looked very familiar but I couldn't put a name to her face. "Do I know you?"
She rolled her eyes and ignored my question, pulling 20 bucks out of her pocket. "You got any rocks left?"
I turned my head for a second and laughed. Yeah I had plenty of rocks left, but twenty dollars wasn't going to get her anywhere, and if I was going to sell this product, it was going to be for its money worth.
"You think you could get rocks with twenty dollars?"
She stared at me, as I felt someone behind me which made me realize she wasn't looking at me, but behind me. I didn't even bother to turn around as I realized what was about to happen to me with those pair of Timberlands.

Daddy and I were now at this fancy restaurant called Jiles, were they sold almost everything on the menu. I had never been here before, but looking at the menu make my mouth water something serious.
I decided that I was going to order lemon filet, with a side of rice, and mashed potatoes.
"You know what your ordering?"
He looked up at me and out his menu down. "Yeah, you?"
I nodded my head, as the waiter came along. "Welcome to Jiles. Are you two ready to order?"
She looked like she didn't even belong in Jamaica, white with a country accent and two long pigtails, looking to be in her early fourties.
"I want to order the filet with a lemon, mashed potatoes, with a side of rice."
"Okay. Would you like a refill on your peach lemonade?"
I shook my head, as she turned to my father who was also ready to order. "I want to order the steak and shrimp, with fries."
She didn't have to ask daddy for a refill because his drink was already full. She picked up my menu and daddy gave his to her right before his phone rung.
She walked off as he picked up, making him excuse hisself from the table. I started to wonder what he was even up too, but I decided to ease my mind and not think of the bad things but the good things.
Everything has been good since we made it, and since he surprised me with the beach house still being here, I was even more estatic.
I watched him come back over to the table and put his phone in his pocket. He looked even more serious and like his phone call didn't go well.
"You alright daddy?"
I questioned. He nodded his head but didn't respond as our waiter came back over and dropped out drinks backs off to us.
"Here goes your Peach Lemonade.." She then turned to daddy. "I seen you were getting low as well, so here goes your Coke."
"Thank you Amanda, but I was wondering if I could get two more menus?"
She nodded her head with a smile.
"Of course. I'll be right back."I watched her walk off and started tapping my fingers on the table. "You invited somebody?"
He looked up at me and nodded his head.
"You didn't think we were just coming up here to hang out, did you?"I didn't even answer as I watched my father buss out into laughter while I shook my head. He was still the same, and I didn't know what made me come on this trip with him on the first place. What made me think he was actually coming here to spend time with his only daughter?
I looked up continuing to watch my dad laugh as the waiter came back, and stood up. I couldn't take it anymore, and as I walked away I blocked out everything. I knew what I had to do now, and it was the only thing left for me to get the jobs done.
I put the phone to my ear, and immediately he answered the phone.
"Reagan?"
Sooooo, did you guys see that coming? Is her father wrong? Is she stupid for even believing that? What about her past? What jobs have to be done?
