E4: The Right Path

"Of course not."

"You better not be eatin' my soup, Goldilocks. I'm calling dibs on them beans."

Johnny looked back at Robby. "I'm not leaving until we talk."

"It's gonna be a while." Robby told his dad. "I don't know if you noticed, but I'm a little busy."

"Well that's good 'cause I'm hungry." Johnny told him.

Robby made his dad a bowl of soup and handed it to him. He watched as his father took the soup and went to sit down. He wanted to know what he was wanting to talk about.

Hannah went to school the next day. It was her first day back since the school fight. She continued to get looks from people as she walked around the campus. It was lunch time and Hannah had sat down at the table with the Cobras. She watched Hawk as he was dribbling the soccer ball with his feet.

"What's your record?" Hannah asked him. "It used to be nineteen, right?"

"Yeah." Hawk said, as he held the ball. He turned his head over to Hannah. "It still is."

"And I bet I can still beat that record." Hannah said as she stood up, looking at Hawk with a challenging face.

"You're on." Hawk said. "Lady's first." He handed the ball to Hannah.

Hannah started to kick the ball with her knees and her feet. The Cobras began to count. "1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10...11...12...13...14...15...16...17...18." Hannah came close to losing the ball but quickly caught herself. "...19...20...21." Hannah tried to kick the ball up on her knee but the ball rolled away. Hannah picked up the ball off the ground.

"21." She handed the ball over the Hawk. "Your turn."

Hawk dribble the ball and the cobras counted. "1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10...11...12...13...14...15...16...17...18...19...20...21...22." Red walked over, recording Hawk as he dropped the ball and it rolled over to Hannah. Hannah let the ball roll up on her leg and she kicked it up to her hand.

Hawk looked at Red, "Hey, 22 in a row. New record."

"Not bad." Hannah said, handing him his soccer ball back. "But I gotchu next time." Hawk wasn't paying Hannah any attention. She looked over to see what he was looking at. She saw Demetri talking to Moon and Yasmine. Hawk looked at the soccer ball and over at Demetri's Lego model. "Do it." Hannah said to him.

Hawk looked at Hannah, then back at Demetri. He threw the soccer ball at his lego model, causing Legos to go everywhere in the school cafeteria floor. The cobras laughed. Hawk walked over to Demetri. "Oh. Pfft... I'm sorry, man." He fakingly apologized as someone tossed his soccer ball to him. "Looks like my ball just got away from me."

"That took me three weeks to build." Demetri told Hawk.

"Eh, took my ball three seconds to destroy." Hawk said as he walked back with the Cobras.

Demetri walked over to Hawk. "Another week, another pissing contest. Although I shouldn't be surprised since you love pissing so much."

Hawk got in Demetri's face. "You landed one kick. You got lucky."

"You better back off, or you won't be lucky." Sam said, standing behind Demetri.

Hawk scoffed as Hannah walked over, beside Hawk and chuckled. "Well look who it is. Little Miss Samantha LaRusso." Hannah looked up and saw Counselor Blatt. "You won't start anything. Actually, why don't you go sleep around with someone new and break his heart?" Hannah said to Sam.

Sam shoved Hannah back into the Cobras arms. ""What's going on here, Miss LaRusso?" Counselor Blatt asked Sam as she quickly turned around. "I would expect Miss Keene not to be aware but you know our new guidelines against physical contact." She looked up at Hannah. "Did she enter your personal bubble without your verbal consent?"
