John: What? You can't wait till the desert gets here?
It's already pretty late so this place isn't packed, meaning they didn't have to wait all too long for the food, Gionna isn't innocent in this little game though, she knew he was jealous and kept on posting those pics with her and Dom, trying to make him more jealous, their both at fault and to blame but what matters is they move past this and move forward as the couple that love each other.
John: Alright. Here...
John and Gionna got a little dressed up for this, nothing too fancy but he did put a jacket on, which he needed to reach into the inside left pocket then pulled out a small envelope, as soon as he handed it over to Gionna she started to open it, John watched him the entire time leaning on the table slightly with a small smile on his face.
John: ... tickets to The Crow Premiere. I know how much you love the red carpet stuff.
John wasn't really one for it, he's happy just waiting for the film to come out on a streaming platform but if he is really interested then he'll go to the movies but he's not a massive fan of the Premiere's mostly because they feel the need to increase the price to whatever they want, not to mention the near hour it takes before just to get your picture taken, Gionna however loves them so he made sure to get her some tickets.
Gionna: Will you be my date?
Gionna looked up to him, only her eyes glancing at him her head still angled down to the two tickets she just pulled out the envelope slightly, she is actually really excited purely because she's told John how much she wants to see the film, personally John thought it was a little harsh to the memory of Brandon Lee but if it's a good film then who's he to judge.
John: Why, greatest ever Women's World Heavyweight Champion. I'd be honoured.
Gionna chuckled to him while handing the tickets back over to him, John took them and placed it back into his jacket pocket for safe keeping, it's not that Gionna can't keep things safe, it's just the outfit she has one right now doesn't really have pockets, besides John is good at keeping things safe and remembering where he put them.
Gionna: How did you even get those? I tried but they were all gone.
John smiled while thinking of an answer, to be honest he didn't pay for them, with his brothers new journey into Hollywood, John's met a few people he can make a call to, that's all he did, he called one of these people and they gifted him the tickets, he was happy to pay for them but apparently they are a token of good faith, John's not dumb, he knows anything "gifted" from Hollywood comes with a price.
John: My brother's the Tribal Chief. I can do anything.
He's not really lying, if it wasn't for Joe and his connections then John wouldn't have got the tickets, Gionna smiled while sitting back in her seat, a toying with her finished dinner plate a little while John watched her, she always looked her best but there's something different about her lately, she's just been so happy, maybe it's this story, maybe it's something he's doing, John didn't know, what matters is John wants to keep her this happy.
Gionna: Maybe one day you'll be the Tribal Chief.
She looked up to him with a sly smile, John chuckled it off a little, he was offered, when Wrestlemania came around and Joe was going to be taking a break, Hunter spoke to him about John returning that Smackdown and proclaiming himself the "Tribal Chief" but John doesn't want to fight against his brother, even in a storyline.
John: That's never going to happen, so stop gaslighting.
John and Joe have never gone 1v1 or even been on different sides of the fight, people would love to see it though, John is a four time NXT Championship after all, Hunter clearly sees him as a Champion just like his brother, only John his happy with where he is, he doesn't feel the need to elevate his career anymore then it already is.
Gionna: It's what I do...
John chuckled to her, Gionna sipped from her drink while looking over to him, ever since this new character she has going for her, Gionna has been very good at gaslighting but she's not going to get into his head, not on this subject, John would never see anyone as the Tribal Chief over his brother, not with everything they've been through together.
Gionna: ... Besides, never say never. Right?
John looked up to her as she looked over to him, a little smirk on her face, John isn't going to turn his back on Roman Reigns, he watched Joe struggle in the WWE for so long to get to the top where he deserves to be, it even scared John to take that step onto the Main Roster himself, he was worried he'd be forced to be something he didn't like as well, but as the Executioner, John lives a really good life.
John: Don't do that. Don't go putting ideas in Hunter's head.
No one can deny that the WWE has excelled under Triple H's guidance and why wouldn't it, he has the respect of the Locker room and he doesn't use half of them as his personal play things, there's very few things Hunter's got wrong while leading the Creative side of things, a lot of them have actually excelled under his new way of doing things, Gionna being one of them, love or hate her new character, you can't deny she's gotten much better in and out the ring.
Gionna: It would be something though right...
John smiled while leaning forward on his arms again, he's never really thought about it all that much but he has seen people talking about it, even the few times he's been at fan meet and greets, they tend to ask why he wasn't the one to be in Solo Sikoa's place, he just told them the same thing he tells everyone, "never turn your back on family".
Gionna: ... John Anoaʻi wins the Royal Rumble, fight's Gunther for the World Heavyweight title at Wrestlemania...
John looked up to her while she continued to smile, apparently she wasn't talking about the WWE Championship but him going over to RAW, there are rumours of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and even The Rock going to the Red Brand when the WWE goes to Netflix purly to build it back up as the Flagship show because as far as it stands, Smackdown seems to be bringing in the most views.
Gionna: ... We'd be the World Heavyweight Champion King and Queen.
John did like the sound of that, Sione and Gunther have never actually crossed paths before, John left the black and gold brand before Gunther joined, then went to Smackdown while Gunther put his footprint on RAW, John and Gunther at Wrestlemania would be a match people would love to see, that's for sure.
John: With Dom?
There's a jealous side seeping through again, John wanted it to though, he needed to know who else she saw on this throne of theirs, will it be just him and her or will there be someone else with them, maybe little ones by their side, who knows what's going on through her mind except her, it's a pretty picture to paint, that's for sure.
Gionna: I'm not sure how long this story has left. There's no real end, so it could be one more week or for the rest of our careers.
She shrugged it off, their convincing that's for sure, there's even people that thinks their having an affair which is just brilliant, if they knew Gionna and everything she's been through then they'd know it's not true, John knows it as well but his own jealousy told him to forget that and caused him to assume, now he's got clarity, he trusts them both not to piss him off.
John: What about the kids thing?
John's not going to forget about that part anytime soon, he's already planning the engagement thing as they sit here speaking, he's not sure how he's going to do it, Gionna has many favourites in this world, trying to pick one and a good time to do it, it's tough, he figured he could do this on his own but maybe he should ask for a little help instead.
Gionna: It happens when it'll happen. We'll handle it together.
Gionna's right hand reached over to his left making him look to her, John's not sure why the idea of kids is so scary to him know, he's wanted them all his life and now that someone has come along and wants them too, he's scared for it, maybe it'll be one of those things where you stand on a cliff, your mind tells you to jump but your too scared, till you actually do it then your glad you did, maybe this will be a similar case... or maybe it won't...
