"Are you guys sure this is okay? We're really doing some damage to the lawn." Fives said. (Y/n), Mordecai and Rigby look at each other. Later, they're at the front of Wing Kingdom then in the interior of the restaurant, where Muscle Man is eating a bunch of wings. "Oh, yeah! Yeah, this is great." Muscle Man said as he ate. "Nice. How about you? You feeling it?" Mordecai asked. "I guess it's just not for me. No offense." Fives said. "None taken." Muscle Man continues eating the wings. "Hmm..." the trio said.
Time Skip
(Y/n), Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man and High Five Ghost are walking together. "Man, what an awesome day. This guy must be the greatest friend." Muscle Man said. "How about we try some of your stuff, Fives?" Rigby asked. "Okay, cool. You mean, like going to the record store or hanging with Celia or taking my Esperanto class?" Fives asked.
"Uh... well, actually, you didn't do any of these things with Muscle Man, so..." (Y/n) said. "Oh." Fives said. "Hey! We made something that might help." Benson said. "A film!" Pops pulls out a VHS. "A fil-well, a video. We made a video of you guys together." Benson said. "We went into the archives and put together this film as best we could." Skips said. "Video. It's really more of a... Oh, it's starting." The video plays on the TV. "As my best man, it's your job to feed me fried food till I pass out!" Muscle Man said on the film. "Ha-ha, you got it!" Fives feeds Muscle Man wings. "Heh-heh. Nice." Muscle Man said. "Hmm..." Fives said.
Muscle Man puts a feather near HFG's nose. HFG sneezes, with the two laughing after. "Aw, yeah. Now, that is funny." Muscle Man said. "Fives, I put on too much tanning oil, and now I can't get up!" Muscle Man said. "Don't worry! I'll help!" HFG struggles to pull Muscle Man up. "Wow! What wonderful memories!" Pops chuckles nervously. "I think I'm gonna call it a night, if that's okay. Thanks."
Fives leaves the room. Muscle Man sighs. "Man, after watching that, I wouldn't even be friends with me. I want you to give it to me straight, bros. Am I not cool?" He asked. "Well... It never really mattered. Hi Fives was there, so you were cool to someone." Mordecai said. "Brutal." Muscle Man sighs and clears his throat as he walks to the window. "Without him, I'm just a loser. I gotta start taking this seriously. I can't let this slip through my fingers." Muscle Man looks at his hand as thunder claps. "Hmm?" He asked.
At Low Five Ghosts' House it is heavily raining. High Five Ghost plays his synthesizer in his room Animal ol - Animal olives were packed in a jar. The door knocks, with Low Five Ghost arriving. "Hey, bro. Cool song. Muscle Man's at the door." High Five Ghost sighs and leaves his room. Fives is at the front door attending to a soaking Muscle Man. Fives sighs. "Yes?" He asked. "Bro, I know I don't seem very cool, but there's gotta be a reason we were friends, and I don't wanna lose that. There's one thing to save our friendship we haven't tried yet."
Muscle Man raises his left hand as thunder claps. "Listen, it's been a long day, and I really need to recharge." Fives said. "Please. This is the last thing. Just slap me some skin." Muscle Man walks backwards to the middle of the road. "Come on! Don't leave me hanging, bro!" He said, and Fives sighs. "If it's the last thing." High Five Ghost floats towards Muscle Man. After high-fiving him, the two get struck by lightning again. After seeing a bright flash of lightning strike the duo, Muscle Man wakes up in the hospital. "Hospital again! So tell me,
do you guys remember each other yet?" The doctor asked. "No." The duo said. "But we can't give up. We gotta do whatever it takes." Muscle Man said. "I don't know, Mitch. Maybe this is all a sign that our friendship isn't meant to be." Fives said. "Don't say that, bro." HFG gets out of his bed and leaves the hospital room. "What are you doing? You can't leave." Muscle Man said. "Actually, I was thinking about going on a road trip. I have a lot to think about, like, what is a friend, really? What does any of this mean? Are we all alone on this big blue pebble?" Fives asked. "Wait! Please, wait. You know who else has a lot to think about?" Muscle Man asked. "Who?" Fives asked. "My mom!" Muscle Man said. "Hmm. I don't really get it." Fives leaves.
Muscle Man runs towards his trailer, bursting in to find Starla knitting. "Mitch?" Starla gets up from the couch. Muscle Man knocks on the door. "Fun bun?" Starla opens the door, where she notices Muscle Man crying, looking at a photo of him and High Five Ghost as teenagers at the Crash Pit. Thunder crashes through the window. "What's it gonna take for you to be my friend?" Muscle Man looks at him and HFG on the photo and the Crash Pit. "Starla, you're gonna have to tape our shows tonight, 'cause I'm not coming back without my best friend." Muscle Man kisses Starla and leaves the trailer. Muscle Man walks into the rain and gets into a tractor to dig up a crash pit as Fives packs his things such as clothes, trail mix and toothpaste and his toothbrush. Muscle Man then arrives at Fives as Low Fives answers the door.
"You just missed him. He went to the bus station." Low said. Muscle Man quickly caught up to Fives in a car as Fives was pulling his suitcase down a sidewalk. "If you came to change my mind, you're wasting your time." Fives said. "No, bro. I just wanna give you a ride to the bus station." Muscle Man said. Fives looks at him skeptically and raises an eyebrow. "Really?" He asked. "Really." Muscle Man said. "It's the least
I could do." Muscle Man said. "Well... Okay. Yeah. Thank you." Fives said. Fives is now sitting beside Muscle Man in the car and he clears his throat. "Uh, if you don't like the music, you can change it or whatever." Muscle Man said. "Oh, no. It's okay. Well, looks like my stop's coming up." Fives said, but Muscle Man drove past it. Fives turns back to look. "Oh. Uh, I think you just passed the bus station." He said.
"Well, that's okay. I'm sure we can make a legal U-turn at the next light." Fives said. At those words, Muscle Man speeds up the car. "Hey! I'm jaywalking here!" A guy on the sidewalk shouted. "Oh, no. We're not going to the bus stop? Where are you taking me?" Fives asked. "I figured it out, bro. It all came together in here." Muscle Man points to his mind. "They told us about the crash pit. They said that's where it all started. And now that's where this ends." Muscle Man said. "You're going off the rails, man!" Fives shouted, then tries to unlock the car door to get out in panic. "You'll see. Unh!" Muscle Man makes a sharp turn through some trees and Fives screams.
"Do you trust me, bro?" Muscle Man asked, holding out a hand to Fives. "No! No, I don't! Look at what you're doing! This is crazy! Please stop!" Fives shouted, then he screams as the car lunges into the pit. As the car goes down, the duo have flashbacks of their time in high school together. Such as the eating challenge, the crash pit, Muscle Man taking his shirt off and twirling it, then getting the job at the park, not long after that meeting (Y/n). They have another flashback of (Y/n), Mordecai and Rigby on the golf cart with them, Muscle Man shaking the food stand, Fives shielding Muscle Man from the grease monster, and the duo doing donuts in the golf cart. Then they have a flashback to Muscle Man's wedding with them high fiving, and them dancing after winning a dodge ball game against (Y/n), Mordecai and Rigby.
The duo laugh, then grab hands. "I remember everything!" They shouted. "Too bad we're gonna die." Fives said. "Not on my watch." Muscle Man said. Muscle Man takes out a grappling hook and attaches it to a rock, then swings him and Fives out. "Woo-hoo!" They shouted as they swung back up. They close their eyes and cringe as the car below crashes and explodes, then laugh. "That was a close one, ha-ha-ha! Wow, thanks for not giving up on our friendship, Muscle Man." Fives said. "You know who else doesn't give up on friendship? My mom!" Muscle Man said, and the duo laugh.
