I walked out of the room quickly- disturbed.

LUNCH

I had repulsive school food in my hand. I was walking outside to figure out where I should sit and then I saw Nicole with her boyfriend Thomas talking  at a table.

I contemplated if I should sit there or go somewhere else.
I made up my mind.
I ambled over.

"And now the video is everywhere!" Nicole said to Thomas.

"What video is everywhere?" I said as I sat down. Thomas made a weird look.

"I don't meant to intrude but can i sit with you guys?" I said.

"yes, you may." Nicole said. She smiled.

I smiled back and sat down.

"The video?" i complied.

"You know your BFF." she said as she moved her head over to Bethany who was next to the door to go inside. I peered over to Bethany.

Bethany saw us all stare at her and she ran inside with aggression.

"What happened?" i said as I looked back at Nicole.

"So when you were in New York with your Boyfriend, Bethany was going to parties, getting wasted and doing inappropriate actions" she said.

"He isn't my boyfriend."

"Whatever, anyways, while you were gone she went to this one party, and had one- too many. If you know what I mean." she said. I nodded. Even know i kind of didn't. Bethany didn't usually do that kind of stuff. And I know that because I was her best friend.

"What happened?" I asked.

"She was on a pool table holding vodka singing and shouting while she was striping her clothes off." she said.

"REALLY?!" I did not to expect that type of behavior to come from Bethany. Getting drunk was one thing. But getting drunk and stripping is another thing.

"BTW, your friend sucks at singing." Thomas said.

"Thx." I said sarcastically as I started eating my food. God it taste nasty. I wondered what else was going on while I was absent. Then It made me think of someone
In particular.

"ANSEL!!!!!?" I shouted with food in my mouth. People looked at me but then continued eating. Thomas and Nicole started laughing.

"sorry." i giggled as I wiped my face with a napkin.

"While you were missing Ansel has been hooking up with Cindy." Thomas said.

Hm.

I wasn't hurt by this.

I felt like I should be. But I wasn't.

It seemed like something that a girl should be so hurt from-
but I didn't.

"Oh that on and off Jelena relationship." Nicole said. I didn't know what to say or do.
But I do know that I have to throw this gross, somewhat food.

"Im gonna go throw away my food." i told them.

I got up from my seat and walked to the outside garbage can.

Once I was done dumping my food I looked up from the trash and saw Ansel.

"aaaahhh." the sound I made as I jumped. It was fake but could easily be mistaken as real.

"I didn't think I was that scary." Ansel joked.  My face became red.
I could feel it heat up. But I didn't want to make a scene so I calmed myself.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he responded.

"You and Cindy?" I blurted out of me mouth.

"yeah?"

I saw that as an invite to go right ahead with my words.

"I thought you didn't want to be with her."

"Are you concerned?" he said with a smile.

WHY IS HE SMILING.

Did he think this conversation was a curious joke.

I again did not know what to say.

"No....its.......just...ummm." I stuttered. I instantly felt sick.

"You okay?" he asked he smiled again.

Really? Again with the smiling. I might fall for him again.

I had to escape this conversation.

"uuuuhhh, I have to go to the bathroom." I said as I hurried to the bathroom.

BATHROOM

As I reached the bathroom I saw Nathan waiting outside.

I rushed in and I directly went to a stall and threw up.

I flushed the toilet and went to the sinks and started cleaning my face. I looked to my right and saw Bethany drying her face. It looked like she had been crying.

"You okay?" she asked.

"Are you?" i responded.

"Yeah, fine."

"It don't look like it."

"I have been going through some shit since you've been gone." she grabbed a paper towel.

"Apparently everyone has." I said as I too grabbed a paper towel. 

silence replaced words.

"I'm sorry about Dylan." she finally spoke up.

I guess I should too.

"I am too. NTBR (not to be rude- a thing me and Bethany usually say) but what happened to you when I was gone."

"I was going through some stuff. My boyfriend broke up with me and I lost my best friend. And then later I hear my best friend ran away and there was reports on the news of you being missing. And the only person who is confronting me is Nathan."

"I'm sorry about the boy friend thing."

"HOW ABOUT THE BEST FRIEND THING?!!!"

"1. you left me 2. Ansel kissed Cindy 3. I bunked into the 3 main bitches, and not the ones that walk these halls 4. I met up with my ex 5. I WAS DEPRESSED!"

"WELL SORRY YOUR LIFE IS A LIVING SOAP OPERA!" Bethany shouted as she through her hands up in the air and stormed out of the bathroom.

Before the door closed I saw Nathan shake is head.......then he ran after Bethany.
