The Prince Bought Me

He was about to swim underwater but I stopped him. "Can you see my body underneath?"

"Not really, don't worry." He gave me a pleasant smile before he dove underwater.

"Are you hungry? Do we need to eat first?" Sage asked me as we stride towards the carnival's entrance.

After our skinny dipping, we went back to our swimsuits and swam back to the shore towards our resort. We changed to our dry clothes before marching to the carnival, which was still populated.

"Not really but can I have some cotton candy?" I peered at him and he looked at me. It's the first time I did really realized that he was taller than me about seven to nine inches.

Apparently, I got my height from my Asian side so I'm not really tall.

"Sure. So, what's our plan? Rides or games?"

"Rides! I'd rather go with the rides."

"Rides it is." I'm actually happy that Sage's considering my options. I know I should be a bit guilty because Sage's spending on me but it's not like everyday a prince will bother his money with you. So I better savour the moment while it's here.

We stopped at some stands to buy some food. In the end, our hands were full of burgers, fries, cotton candy and others. I don't know their names, but they sure look tasty.

I told Sage I wanted to try the roller coaster first. It was both our first time to try it so during the whole ride, we were screaming so hard. I also pulled his hair every time our ride goes down. I was a bit surprised when I didn't see a patch of his hair missing. I almost puked at him, honestly.

The next one was the bumper cars. Each car had a hole on the side and every car has their own gun. So when I pull the gun's trigger to the hole on Sage's car, his car will start to vibrate. It was really startling actually. The whole time it was always Sage who had the chance to bump his car on mine then he'll take the opportunity to shoot my car. I didn't even had the chance to catch or shoot his car since he drove really nice (I almost forgot that he could drive a freaking Lamborghini above the speed limit) and he always sneaks up behind me. Even after our ride, I was still a bit shaken. I can't stop vibrating.

We even played Bingo and since Sage didn't know how I instructed him what to do. I was actually confident that I was going to kick his ass on this one since I've been playing for so long. It didn't happen though. He won most of the games.

We also tried some of the games and Sage kicked everyone's asses off. There was this shooting game and Sage hit every one of them. I'm curious though, are princes supposed to be good at everything.

He even let me choose a stuff toy as a prized so I ended up with a minion but Sage insisted that I take Baymax but I didn't want to so he played another one and I swear, the owner of the stand is already pissed at us especially at Sage who keeps winning. This time he chose Baymax and he gave it to me again.

Before the night ended, we were deciding on our last ride with our ice cream cones in hand, and the ferris wheel and the chairlifter were our choices. In the end, we decided with the chairlifter . The ferris wheel were only twelve feet higher than the chairlifter so the view is pretty much the same and the chairlifter goes around the whole carnival so I think it's more enjoying.

While in the air, I almost dropped my ice cream cone when Sage won't stop tickling me.

When we got out of the carnival, we already decided to hit the bed but a glowing neon sign caught our attention. The arrow was pointing towards the hill and we agreed to check that out. When we arrived at the top of the hill there was an event. There were about ten staffs and I recognized them from their uniforms. The one holding a microphone was probably their leader since he was instructing everyone. There were also dozens of people in here and everyone was holding paper lanterns like the ones in Tangled.

A man in a uniform who looked older than us by a few years approached us and gave us a smile before handing us four paper lanterns. Two for each one of us and they were actually free.

The speaker told us to make our wishes before we let our paper lanterns go. I looked at Sage whose eyes were already closed, wishing probably. I didn't really know what I wanted so I settled with these: I want my adventure with Sage to be memorable and if possible I don't want it to stop because it's so much fun; I want a Polaroid camera.

I pried my eyes open as the speaker counted down.

"Five!"

"Four!"

"Three!" And soon everyone one was counting along.

"Two!"

"One!"

We let go of our paper lanterns and as we watched the sky, it was breathtaking. It was beautiful as the northern lights. What a perfect way to end the night.
