“Sooooo Karina, how are things between you and Frexi?” Kira suddenly ask with a smug look. “I’m just wondering what’s up between you two. I know you have a thing for him.” Karina looks up suddenly and starts blushing to the point where her face looks like a bright red balloon.

“W…well you see Uuhm how should I put this?” Karina’s soft voice says nervously.

“Aww come on you can tell us. It’ll stay between the three of us promise!” Nala pressures her even more. Karina looks at them with a grin and Kira and Nala look at her confused.

“We’re already together.” Karina says with a big smile on while still blushing. Kira and Nala get shocked looks on their faces.

“WHAT?!” They both yell out.

“When did that happen and why did no one tell US sooner?!” Nala questions her. Karina looks around the area while still blushing.

“Well it happened while I was still in the hospital, right after I woke up. I guess it just kinda happened. I didn’t tell you cause well I haven’t seen you in five days.” Karina replies with a smile.

“You have our numbers though.” Kira looks at her blankly.

“Didn’t feel right telling you that over the phone. Much better in person don’t you think?” Karina winks at them. The three of them laugh as they enter the mall.

-Back in the aura training field-

“So is there anything more you can tell me about my past?” Frexien continues to question.

“There are but that can wait till later.” Shadow winks at Frexien and grins.

“That’s really creepy sensei.” Frexien replies with a weird look on his face.

“Lighten up a bit will ya. Anyways we should probably wrap up your training. I gotta get Mata and Rami back to the palace before your mother starts worrying.” Shadow sensei says in a teasing tone. Frexien’s eyes grow wide.

“Wait cant you at least tell me about her?” Frexien yells out.

“Well since you asked nicely. Your mother, Lady Hafford is everything a great mother would be. She’s loving, overprotective of her young, playful, understanding. She is basically the image of a motherly queen. You were always around her with Mata and Rami not too far behind. You, Lady Hafford, Mata and the ever lovable Rami were always together.” Shadow finishes gaining a smile after seeing Frexien’s reaction. Frexien’s eyes water up and turn a bright blue color.

“That’s great to know. But I have another question. Why do you have Mata and Rami in the first place? I thought you were banished.” Frexien asks with a curious look.

“Weeell you see back when I was still a general in the royal army my division was under the direct command of Lady Hafford. She didn’t take too kindly to my banishment. She ordered a messenger to find me and when he did find me he informed me to not give into the Kings request to ‘redeem’ myself. In her message she told me to watch over you and make sure you have a normal life. Obviously that hasn’t gone to well recently. Anyways I couldn’t say no to her majesty so I accepted the request. When the King asked me about my ‘search’ for you I informed him that I had yet to locate you. I don’t think he believed me since he sent those mercenaries after you. Now the reason I have Mata and Rami right now is because Lady Hafford wants them to see as much of the world as possible. She has them smuggled out of the palace for a few days and they spend that time with me. The King has yet to notice them being gone because as I told you from the start, they are the best aura users around. Their aura powers let them create perfect replicas of themselves, which is what they do when they come with me” Shadow finishes while trying to catch his breath. “Anything else?”

“Not really since you said the rest can wait.” Frexien sounds a bit annoyed while thinking more about Lexon and Lady Hafford. “Actually just one. Can I tell Rami and Mata who I really am?”

“I think it’s best to stay quiet about that for now. It’s bad enough they know your name. They could accidentally mention you in the palace and someone might overhear them and then there would be BIG trouble. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell them at some point.” Shadow responds sounding a bit too sure of himself. Frexien raised an eyebrow then looked over towards Zero.

“Alright then I’ll stop with the questioning for now. Can we get him down from there before his head explodes from all the blood rushing to his head?” Frexien points at Zero then looks at Shadow. Shadow laughs and puts his hand on the back of his head.

“Right right ill let you do that. I’m going to go grab Mata and Rami and I’ll be right back.” Shadow’s body fades away in black smoke. Frexien looks towards Zero and swings his hand upwards sending a slash of aura towards the tree cutting not only the duck tape but the tree completely in half. Zero falls to the ground and wakes up extremely confused.

“What’s going on? And why do I have such a huge headache?” Zero questions while rubbing his head.

“Long story, but listen we’re wrapping up the training today so get ready. I wanna get back to Destiny Valley and see Karina and tell everyone something important.” Frexien laughs then blushes while thinking about Karina.

“Well isn’t that adorable.” Zero laughs with him with a bit of jealousy in his voice. Mata appears out of nowhere and jumps on Frexien’s back with a huge smile.

“Well good morning Mata” Frexien smiles at her. Mata giggles a bit.

“Good morning! Shadow told us that you guys are going away soon so we need to have as much fun today as possible!” Mata yells out with a smile. Frexien smiles then looks down a bit thinking about what Shadow had just told him.

“Yea unfortunately we gotta head back to our town. There’s people there waiting for us and I’m pretty sure we’ve missed way too many days of school.” Zero looks up with a worried look.

“Oh crap! I totally forgot about that place!” Zero yells out. Suddenly a blast of aura flies towards him but Zero surprisingly deflects it upwards. “HA not this time you little punk!”

“Who are you calling a punk you creep!?” Rami yells out from behind Frexien. He puts on a smile. “You forgot about gravity Zero.” Zero looks at him confused. Suddenly the ball of aura that he deflected up falls back down and lands on him cause a small explosion. Rami falls to the ground laughing.

“Alright Rami that’s enough messing around with Zero. Can’t have him leaving here all worn out and such.” Shadow appears with a grin. He picks up Zero by his shoulder out of the newly formed crater.

“I swear that boy is gunna be the end of me.” Zero responds with a blank expression.
